My wife and i thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Colon hotel and would recomend this hotel as an excellent central location to explore Barcelona. You are right in the centre but yet in a very quiet peacful location just off La Rambla ideal for all restaurants, the bus tours etc which are a must for anybody visiting the city. ... τι λέει ο κόσμος » pect of the hotel once you enter from the street. - Location, Location, Location. We found the Colon to be excellent in all ways. The hotel itself is beautiful and kept up. Our room was lovely with a terrace overlooking the Cathedral. Staff was very accommodating and recommended excellent restaurants. It was a wonderful experience!

Friendliness of staff. Neat appearance of room. Beautifully made beds. Very convenient situation, eg especially only 5 mins walk from Catelonia airport bus.stop. - A nice room with a good bed. Location is good.

The apartment is located in the centre of Barcelona (close to the cathedral). It's a proper apartment for two people or maybe three if you don't have any problems sleeping on a couch. The interior is okay for you won't stay too long insinde the apartment.
There is a TV (we didn't used it and a good music station for iphone ....).

The hotel is central, easy to find, close to the Catalonia Square where you catch all the buses and metro line. We had a very warm greeting as soon as we entered the Hotel, from Alex. Although in travelling, my expectations do not include that everyone speaks English; but, your staff spoke it extremely well, which makes travelling so much easier. In the afternoon, we were always given superb restaurants for dinner, given by the young women on staff. All staff went more than the extra kilometre, to make our stay enjoyable. Staff were excellant and could not be more accomodating. Modern boutique decor hotel with great location to all attrctions.
