  I was en route back home to Pamplona via train, so the proximity to Ayoxha was ideal. All I wanted was a clean, safe place to stay and where I could take a long shower after traveling all day from Reykjavik. Chic & Basic delivered that and more. Pleasant staff, super cute room and I checked out the roof terrace which looked divino. It was nice... τι λέει ο κόσμος » to have bath gel and the free drinks and fruit downstairs were a nice touch. The room was pint-sized, but had all the basics- and the decor was hip a - Pretty much everything! It was very clean, fresh, and bright. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. We were extra thrilled about the cold water, ice, tea, coffee, fruit and crackers in the lobby. The cold water was a God send after adventuring around the city for the day! The location was wonderful. We walked everywhere around the city, and took the train from Atocha to Toldeo and the airport and also in from Barcelona - it was so easy!

  Very good information about the apartement and good service of the staff. Staff on site does not speak english but reception that was called on the phone does speak english. Very quiet studio in the back courtyard. Shopping groveries, banking etc. directly in front the studio. Free service to leave baggage with reception at Plaza Mayor was offered... τι λέει ο κόσμος » , however we did not use it because at Atocha train station you can leave luggage for a small charge, it is more close. - Good location, 2 main to metro, 5 main to Atocha and 15 main to Prado. Clean simple room with air condition and tv.

  Pension is situated in a good place, close to the city centre and close to metro station. The man who worked at the reception (Hose) was wery nice, serviceable and kind. He was always ready to help us find whatever we were looking for in Madrid. Our room was seamlessly clean with clean towels every morning. In the cheack out day Hose saved our laguage untill the moment we went to the airport and we thank him a lot :) - - excellent location exactly in the center of Madrid - very friendly staff and also very helpful - extremely affordable prices - shops and minimarkets right near and across the pension - clean rooms, spacious and comfortable - the rooms that go into the interior court are very quiet, the ones that go in the street can be a bit noisy during the night

  Hostal San Antonio is a very convenient and charming place. The owners are extremely nice and helpful, my room was quite comfortable, cleaned every day and with a cute balcony. I stayed there 5 nights by myself and have nothing to complain about.   The staff at Numancia, especially the man on the front desk the majority of the time are excellent. All our needs were met and any requests were willing to be accommodated including leaving our luggage there for a whole day (as our train trip was at night).
