The staff at the Portago Urban we're very friendly and accommodating to our needs during the stay. A requested room change was done with no drama and they assisted with some business issues I was having at the time. I really cannot thank them enough. The wifi worked very well and the beds and shower were well above standard. The design of the place is great. You are in a nice part of Granada not too busy but near a bus stop that takes you straight to the Alhambra.

And for us of great importance the very high quality of beds and the viscoelastical pillows. Difficult to find. The design of the hotel was imaginative, with a sense of humour. The room was decorated with suggestions of relaxation and sleep; even the light in the toilet was discretely dimmed, so as not to jar the senses if turned on during the night. Clever. quality exceeds the price!!!! Everything was perfect!Nice Smell in Lobby!Nice boy on reception, perfect room with a comfortable bed! Nothing. Nothing. Small issues: room smelt of stale smoke and our pillows were foam which is not to everyone's taste. Breakfast could have a little more variety. Getting to the hotel is a bit tricky with the narrow streets but we managed. The hotel does not have a parking lot, but there is a private parking lot near the hotel. On the weekend nights you could hear people outside until early in the morning walking home from local pubs. The bathroom wasn't heated. I asked for a portable heater, but never got one. Only a small window that had to be covered by the curtain the whole time. It is a pity not to be able to see the nice blue sky of Granada. Poor plumbing - no hot water, toilet flush problems. No hotel garage or parking. Family room....2nd is in the attic with a steep ladder like stair. Not very ideal for young kids for safety reasons. one chair only,. The breakfast was awnful. We had to hask for bread (there wasn't none to eat, only some cereals) and juice the two days we we´re in the hotel. There was no fruit, no cake, nothing.... only bread, milk, juice, coffe and some cereals, and we had to ask for them. The carpark is dreadful & another guest damaged our car & quickly left so as not to caught. The breakfast was just bread and cereal. I think there had been muffins early but they were not replaced. The aircon is set to turn off after 3mins which meansthe room was uncomfortably warm. Our room faced the street and it soundedlike there was a party in our room til 5am. (Thursday night). In restricted zone which was very stressful toaccess and challenging to find. The Aaron is set to find. The breakfast buffet was very disappointing. There was not a lot of option to chose from.
