Situated 100 metres from the beach in Port Elizabeth, this B&B provides spacious rooms with a private patio. Guests can relax in the surrounding gardens with its swimming pool and deck chairs. All modern rooms at The Beachwalk come with a bar fridge, microwave and tea/coffee facilities. Each room has free Wi-Fi, a separate entrance and a private bathroom with toiletries and a hairdryer. Breakfast is provided each morning at Beachwalk B&B. Barbecue facilities are available for afternoon lunches or summer dinners. Guests can find the nearest restaurant within a 5-minute walk from the B&B. An airport shuttle is available to Port Elizabeth Airport, an 8-minute drive away. The Boardwalk Casino is a 5-minute walk. Free parking is provided.

It has a great location close to shops and restaurants in the Boardwalk Mall which you can walk to. Also, it's set back from the main road so you don't hear any traffic noise. Clifford the owner and his wife Lea are so nice and gave us a very warm welcome. We loved Clifford's sense of humour ! He gave us a fantastic recommendation for a special dinner - the Ginger Restaurant - since this was the last night of our wonderful holiday in South Africa. It is only a few minutes walk from the Beachwal.
όλα τα σχόλια » There is no place like home, but actually there is! Hotel Beachwalk, place where we felt like at home! We felt like we came to visit our family and definitely not just like in the ordinary hotel. Big and very clean room, huge bed, delicious breakfast, good price, best location, this is just a short list of benefits but there are much more of them! Alida is the best manager in the world and Cliff is best owner of the hotel that I have ever met! They are very nice people and make everything to fe. This is one of the best kept secrets in P.E. - friendly and very helpful staff - some of the finest folks we met on our three week visit to S.A., clean, comfortable rooms, a stones throw to the beach, short walk to excellent dining options and did I mention the awesome omelet? Ask for the "secret" ingredient, you won't be disappointed! Oh, if you get the pleasure of meeting Frankie, tell him his Ca. Buddy misses him!. This is how ALL b+b accommodations should be! The room was fabulous, the breakfast 5 star and the staff were so helpful and friendly without being "in your face". I cannot recommend this place too highly if you are considering a stay in Port Elizabeth, everything from airport collection to a safari at Addo/schotia can be organised beforehand. Stay at Beachwalk b+b, you WILL NOT be disappointed!!!!!. The hosts were just amazing people, extremely friendly and very nice to talk to. Always ready to give suggestions as to what to do around. Location just perfect, walking distance to the beach and to the shopping center as well as the casino :). Breakfast was nice. Home away from home. We had a wonderful time at the Beachwalk and would return for sure. We recieved a very warm welcome from Margret the weekend locum; she was very accomodating and helpful. We also liked the warn comradee amoung staff. Accomodations and location couldn't be beat; great value for money. Great dining room and thought went into the breakfast offerings. I wouldn't hestiate to recommend this accomodation. Good quality B & B in an excellent location. Cliff, Lea and Alida were always professional, friendly and helpful and our room was very comfortable. Had the good fortune to be there when the city was holding a concert in the feathermarket. Terrific....more to PE than meets the eye!!. Amazing welcome and friendliness throughout our stay, and really tried to foster a happy atmosphere amongst the guests. Room was very nice looking out onto the garden and pool. Breakfasts were exceptional. The Reception we got on arrival and right throughout our stay was fantastic. The breakfast was awesome and freshly made. The location was excellent with easy access to restaurants and the seafront. My room was comfortable and clean and the breakfast was excellent. We really feel home here. Stuffs are very helping and warm-hearted. The breakfast served here is one of the best I have ever had. A truly relaxing place. Excellent service and location. The owner even served us a super breakfast at 6.00 am as we were leaving for an early flight. Superb personal touch. Very nice and clean facilities located across the street from the beach run by super friendly lady who makes one of the best omelettes in SA!. Breakfast was very good. Were given complimentary drinks when sitting reading at the pool which was a nice touch. Breakfast was ample and very varied but the cooked breakfast was greasy each morning; my bacon and saugage was burnt black. A small thing that can be easily addressed by using less grease, turing down the heat and watching the food cook. There was nothing that we could fault at this venue at all, it served its purpose and more. No hairdryer and electric access points requires crawling into vanity space. the beach is close by but it's nothing spectacular. Nothing. Loved everything about Beachwalk. Room was a little warm despite overhead fan. Nothing. Manager does not like advice. Parking.

Travelling information

From the N2: Take the Settlers Way M4 off ramp. Follow the beachfront/Summerstrand signs, keeping the sea on your left at all times. Carry on along Beach Road which becomes Marine Drive, past Paxton Hotel, Virgin Active, McDonalds, to the Boardwalk Casino complex. At the first set of lights after the Boardwalk, turn right into 2nd avenue. Beachwalk is the 1st house on the right. From the airport: Out of the airport parking to a traffic circle, turn right into Alister Miller Drive. At the first traffic lights, turn right into La Roche drive. Go through one set of lights and at the second traffic lights, turn right into Strandfontein Road. At the next traffic lights turn left into Second Avenue. Carry on down Second Avenue. Beachwalk is the last house on the left before you hit the beach.
