Centrally located in Mossel Bay less than 10 minutes’ walk from Santos Beach, Aquamarine offers spacious rooms. It features an outdoor pool and a sun terrace. Aquamarine’s elegantly decorated rooms have modern en-suite bathrooms with double basins, baths, and rain showers. Each room has a patio, a flat-screen HD satellite TV, tea-and-coffee-making facilities, as well as bath and pool towels. Free Wi-fi is available in all rooms and in the lounge and dining area. A full English breakfast can be enjoyed both on the main patio at the poolside, or in the dining room, overlooking the bay and Outeniqua mountains. A range of restaurants and fast food outlets are less than 10 minutes' walk away. Guests can choose from a variety of activities in the surrounding area, including hiking, snorkeling, paragliding, boat trips to Seal Island or Whale Watching trips. The guest house provided secure off-street parking and has a remote-controlled gate.

While from the outside it might not look like much, we were pleasantly surprised by the room. We had booked the honeymoon suite and had a lovely spacious and modern room with a great terrace overlooking the bay. The bathroom was massive and all in all the entire room seemed very clean. The staff was lovely from the moment we arrived. Having had stayed in a so called 5* property in Cape Town the previous few nights, we valued Aquarmarine GH higher.
όλα τα σχόλια » Wonderful room, that is very spacious, perfectly clean and includes a flatscreen TV, and a binocular for whale watching. Spacious bathroom that comes with bathtub and shower. Big balcony with sunloungers and dining table, that offer a marvelous view on the sea. Requests asked for via letsbookhotel.com were considered. Very good price/performance ratio in July. Efficient staff and secure parking out front. Got a wonderful room with a large decked area with views out to sea and the Harbour. They have a taxi service organised that will bring you, for free, to and from restaurants to the guest house as it is a bit out (2km walk to the point (lighthouse). Not a problem though if you like to stretch your legs!. Really liked the decor in the room and the bathroom was lovely. I believe a bathroom can make or break the place you are staying. Everything looked very fresh and the view at breakfast and from our room meant we could get a view of the sea on the horizon. The price of room was excellent value for money. We were welcomed by a very friendly lady and given a fruit juice and a glass of sherry. We chose the honeymoon suite because of the view and private balcony and it lived up to our expectation. The room and bathroom were spacious. We loved having bath sheets and receiving our choccie treat every evening. Excellent accomodation! Our room overlooked the pool and sea and was very spacious and decorated to a high standard. Car parking secure. Short walk down the hill to the harbour with restaurants or nice beach through the town to the headland. Good stop along the garden route. Fabulous accommodation! Reasonably priced, gorgeous views, and great facilities. Included a cooked-to-order breakfast that can be enjoyed overlooking the beach. The rooms were luxurious and well worth the price. Overall fabulous guest house!. Staff were very courteous and sherry on arrival. The room was amazing and the bathroom was the best I have ever had in accomodation. We had a room with a sea view and it was spectacular. Breakfast on the patio was also top quality. Great place, very comfortable and neat. Premises very well kept and staff well trained. Enjoyed our weekend's stay. Safe and secure parking with ease of entrance to main road. Deliscious breakfasts made for a great start to the day. 1) Room and en suite were spacious. 2) Very clean and well -prepared. 3) Staff were great - friendly, professional and very informative. Garden was lovely - appreciated the view over the pool and bay. Everything - the guest house surpassed all our expectations and we will definitely tell everyone who is going to Mosselbay about Aquamarine... And will definitely return ourselves. Patio. The massive bathrooms. The room. Staff and view. It is quite a walk to reach restaurants and shops in (not very lovely) Mossel Bay. Narrow parking lot. ~We stayed for two nights and I cannot say there was anything we disliked. Breakfast was fairly basic, not as much selection that one would get from a hotel but was substantial enough. It reflected the price we were charged for the room. We didn't like the fact that the toilet was not closed off from the rest of the bathroom. The bin in the room is very small. We didn't like struggling to lock the bottom locks on the sliding door every night. Big hill down to beach unfortunately meant that half of the journey was up hill. We were married off by staff as Mr and Mrs, I didnt mind but my girlfriend didnt as much, it's like we're married already!. 1) Parking set up - nightmarish 2) TV - we battled to eventually get a picture - set up was wrong. 3) Safe could not be unlocked and so had to carry valuables with us. 4) Toilet cistern ran non-stop 5) Consider a vegetarian alternative to sausages and bacon for breakfast. Just a very quiet town. Simply No. the heater is to small for this large rooms on cold days. Nothing! It suited us extremely well. It is some distance from the main town centre - we did not mind this as we like to walk - but it may be a disadvantage for some. Only small issue is you cannot get wifi in your room, only in communal areas. Not much choice of restaurants nearby. Our room was bit noisy, because of ventilation hole in the wall which linked to the staff room. Staff in attendance when we arrived not well informed on transport from bus terminal, access to attractions. Easy to miss when coming down the hill and parking is very tight. Nothing to complain. Early closing hours of the town on Sundays. The breakfast could have been a lot better, more3 choice, more homely, the marmalade was in a plastic sealed pot, no choice of juices, got really sploit at our last place in Pletts. Road noise. Advertised WIFI did not work in the room we had. the staff wasnt plesent at all. we felt like we are disturbing them every time we wanted something. No complaints whatever. Every thing was tip top. Was quite a way out of town but they have a shuttle service to the seafront. No staff on duty 8pm-8am. Parking >>>>>each room must have its own parking bay. Room had not really any view, so felt a little stuck. Breakfast. Staff were not proffessional enough and didn't engage in a friendly manner. Way too expensive for what you got at the end of the day. I feelt very uncomfortable about not being able to lock the front door at night. Far from beach. WiFi didn't work most of the time. No owners present Parking difficult. Parking is a nightmare Chairs are extremely hard and uncomfortable Lighting is inadequate to read by comfortably.
