What I like most is, I got a free room upgrade from Marvelous to Fabulous room! And I love the room! It is spacious and pretty with all the different lightings and designs. The rooms are large, clean and the rooms were furnished very vibrantly. The location is great - within the exclusive residential area of Sentosa which is quieter. There are supermarket and 7-11 within walking distance. A good selection of eateries is located in front of the hotel. My children love the pool :). There was nothing we did not like. Frequency of the Sentosa shuttle service at every 45mins can be improved. I didnt like the breakfast. Drinks are a bit pricey but that is pretty standard throughout Singapore. Some areas had a smell. E.g. outside the WC on Level 2 (lobby). "Towel-person" by the pool had too many qns. Breakfast was a tad too crowded for my liking. Though hard to pick holes in, the one thing we did not like was the breakfast buffet. There were almost no vegetarian or healthy options. The price. Breakfast in simple. Certainly nothing. Checkin and checkout was very slow.Bartender was a little snappy when we went for our pre-dinner cocktails.Too many noisy children even in the bar lounge?They should not be allowed in a bar where evening drinks are for adults to chill out.Queueing for breakfast was slow and Kitchen Table was over-crowded. - No complimentary pick-up available from around Sentosa except at Vivo - Shuttle service does not allow luggage - Quite a distance to walk from the main bus stop to hotel, if walking with luggages. Late check in. My wife and i were not pleased when one of the staffs (Indian lady) passed a remark 'Please keep an eye on your son' when my son tripped while looking at the lights. Instead of asking if my son was ok, she was more concerned of the lights. This type of attitude does not reflect well on W hotel. This incident happened on 14th September between 1115 to 1130 am. Lack of service staff at the breakfast area resulting in uncleared plates at the tables. The walkway to the pool was always closed with a ribbon. Why? Some design components such as cups etc in the breakfast area do not match the classy design of the rest of the hotel. Very minor comment but yet something that stood out to me. The valet boys and their antics and off handed dis regard for the guests The fact that the in room dinning was not according to the menu. Air con to cold in hallways. Just needed the minibar restocked every day :). The loud music in the foyer on arrival. Far away from UNIVERSAL STUDIO , i stayed in W seoul and it was more butiful than W sentosa , the breakfast was despointed not much choices. Didn't like that they charged use twice for out two day stay. The pre-authorisation actually went through from our bank plus use paying at the end of our stay. Not happy...with W Hotel as they are not playing ball in returning the money to us. Put a really dampner on things. The breakfast is not too exciting. No soap in the pool, lobby and restaurant bathrooms?. No signage that tells you that you need to take the stairs to the breakfast area or walk through the spa floor, outdoors and back into the b'fast restaurant. Complicated. however, i did not like the cleaning staff who was never on time..also hotel was not ready on arrival even after 3pm...also a very poor bus service from hotel to near by places. Nothing for the time being. Nothing. 2 hrs before luggage came up 1 hr for extra bed transport to airport was not booked we almost missed our flight. Dislike the location. Breakfast wasnt good, it doesnt have many options so that made u eat far east food. The time for bus Need to improve as location. there reward program. Transportation. bed and pillow rather soft. did not sleep well. The pressure from the shower head is disappointing weak and water pressure is small .. The occasional sub-standard service of the concierge staff, probably too bogged down with heavy volume. Nothing.
