The location is good, 300 meters from Leidseplein: one of the most interesting areas of the city. The staff was very kind and helpfull. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. Complimentary bottles of water in the room were much appreciated. Free tea and coffee anytime we liked in the downstairs area was a welcome surprise and made us feel very much at home. The lovely girl at reception even made our 12 year old a hot chocolate. This hotel has an excellent location in pleasant and prosperous Amsterdam Zuid, close to the Concertgebouw. Posh shops and restaurants as well as an affordable supermarket are close by. Amsterdam's historic center and major museums are easily reachable by public transportation.

Our room was well equipped, and had access to a shared balcony. The rates are very reasonable by A'dam standards. -
I loved the location, private bathroom and room size. It was walking distance to the museums, public transportation to the airport and other areas was around the corner from the hotel. The rooms were clean, bathrooms as well, cable television and heating.

Staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Location was excellent, tram stop right outside taking you straight to the centre and only minutes from the lovely Vondelpark so you also feel away from it all. the staff were amazing, check in is at 2.00pm but when we turned up at 6.30am asking if we could leave our bags they asked if we wanted our room now, such a wonderful thought as we were so tired - Great service by the staff. Good meal at a very fair price.
