This bed and breakfast is located in the historic centre just 600 metres from Amsterdam Central Station. Crown Bed and Breakfast offers free Wi-Fi and private bathrooms. Dam Square is 5 minutes by foot. The modern and spacious rooms have a colonial décor with exposed wooden beams. They have a seating area and flat-screen TV. Both rooms have a bathroom which is fitted with a bath or shower. Every morning Crown offers a breakfast buffet. There is a wide variety of lunchrooms, cafes and restaurants located in the direct surroundings of Crown Bed and Breakfast Amsterdam. Anne Frank House is a 10-minute walk from Crown B&B. Main shopping street Kalverstraat is 450 metres away. From Amsterdam Central Station you have direct links to lively Rembrandtplein, Leidseplein and Museumplein.

We stayed 2 nights at the Crown B&B. The location was fantastic - only a few minutes walk from Centraal Station and surprisingly close to all of the sights. Angelo, who was more like an old (or new!) friend, was a fantastic host - showing us how to get to all of the places we wanted to go and advising us where to eat and drink along the way. He was there 1st thing in the morning to see how our day had gone and what our plans were for that day, offering suggestions and route advice. Breakfas.
όλα τα σχόλια » I loved the experience of staying in this beautiful, well maintained, centrally located typical Amsterdam building which was the main reason I picked this place. The room was tactfully and pleasantly decorated as well as the kitchen/dining area, which was very spacious and modern. The bathroom in our room was HUGE and fancy. Angelo, the owner was very kind and helpful and easily accessible. He provided a complimentary bottle of wine in the room. He also paid for my taxi ride to the airport earl. Our room and bathroom was very big ( not what you usually find in Amsterdam) clean, very quite and comfortable, with a small refrigerator and TV in the room and a fresh orchid!!! Angelo receive us and help us with the luggage’s going up the stairs!! He was so nice!!!! very patient and kind. He gave us recommendations for restaurants and more… he made us feel at home. The breakfast room and kitchen is very nice with table cloths beautifully set and a great coffee machine. The breakfast was good. Crown B&B has a friendly and helpful owner Angelo. I was excited about the location and property. The room I stayed in was huge by Amsterdam standards. You still have the typical Amerstam staircase. The common area and kitchen is modern and appealing. This is a newly remodeled property and a very good value for the money. A short and easy walk from Central Station. There are only a few rooms and the pictures are exactly what you get. Nice set up for the traveler who desires comfort w. Angelo was wonderful! He was right there to help me with my bags. The room was perfect and clean. Angelo was more than helpful with finding out what I needed and helping me find where to go. He was even available by cell if needed. He recommended the perfect place to eat for my taste. (Bier Fabriek)The room was comfortable and clean, breakfast was just perfect. No photo trickery here, the room is just like the pictures. An easy walk from the central train station. Would absolutly stay here agai. Brilliant location - on a peaceful road, but a stroll from Centraal Station and all the sights. Great choice of bars, cafes, coffeeshops and shops within a 5 minute walk. Adam, Angelo and Nicki were very welcoming and helpful. Our room (large double on 3rd floor) was huge, modern and comfortable with a Jacuzzi. Breakfast was DIY, with everything you could want, and you can pop into the kitchen anytime for drinks or snacks. Angelo, the owner of the B&B, was simply amazing. He checked us in before our check-in time, took his time explaining the city and its whereabouts. The place is super cozy, warm and above all safe. 5 minute walk from train station, 10 minute walk from Red Light District, 10-15 minute walk to everything else. I can't wait to come back! The room was very clean and super cute! We loved it. The place is just AMAZING, completely renovated, the rooms and the private bathroom are huge Angelo was lovely, he gave us a lot of information and places to visit The breakfast is also good, with Nesspreso coffe and if you want, you can cook your food For sure we'll stay again if we come back to Amsterdam soon ^^. Superbly renovated 350 year old house.Wondefull authentic atmosphere,of old Amsterdam.Access to everything on foot.Angelo the owner,was a charming&generous host,and the inclusive breakfast buffet,was first class.Couldn't have made a better choice for our stay.Wouldn't hesitate to stay again on my next visit. The Manager Angelo at the BnB was delightful and provided an amazing and professional service. Breakfast was included and very well thought through. Location is perfect, right between Dam Square and Centraal Station. Room was immaculate and bathroom was very well designed. Perfect for a romantic weekend away. Stay here! Angelo was an excellent host and all staff friendly and helpful. Great location, walking distance from station and to main areas, it's on the nicer side of town. The room was clean, spacious, well presented, had a comfy bed and nice bathroom. Breakfast was a very tasty help yourself buffet. This hotel is newly renovated. The room was so clean and great set up -specially the bed was really comfortable. The location of the hotel is very central. The owners, Angelo and Adam, are very friendly and helpful. I recommend everyone this hotel. I think you can hardly find something better. Crown B&B was just fantastic! Our room was huge and had everything you could possibly need. The staff are really friendly and take the time to walk you through a map of the city if you are new to Amsterdam. The kitchen facilities and breakfast were great! Loved this accommodation!. For this price incredibly good! Everything clean, very cosy and nicely decorated! Plus family atmosphere. The breakfast was basic but totally sufficient! Angelo who took care of us was really friendly and was willing to help us and do his best to make our stay the most pleasant. We especially loved the ambience & atmosphere of the recently renovated building. Our king-sized heated bedroom was luxurious & ensuited. Breakfast was a feast. Thank you Angelo for making us so welcome, we felt right at home. See you next time we travel to Amsterdam!. It's all been said before and it's all true. The Crown B&B is a fantastic little place where customer service comes first. The entire place was spotless and very comfortable during our stay. We'll be staying here again next year and are already looking forward to it. A warm welcome from the lovely Angelo, who waited up for our later flight and train. He could not have been more helpful. Very relaxed home atmosphere, and very comfortable. Right on the doorstep of everything in Amsterdam, and a very safe feeling location. Excellent place. Owner, Angelo was really helpful . The room was fantastic. The kitchen was well stocked and you can use the coffee machine anytime ( & kettle). The Location is great. Everything to cater for your needs has been thought of. Luxury. Location close to restaurants, museums and stores. Friendliness of staff (co-owner) and full breakfast facility. Modern facility in old building (built in 1728). Beautiful bathroom with full multi-nozzle body shower and rainshower head. Fantastic large room with huge spa bath , Angelo is very welcoming and gave some good tips as to restaurants and places to visit. The stairs are VERY steep and this hotel would not suit those with a disability or elderly. Very big, beautiful and comfortable room. Perfect location. Fresh and rich breakfast. Yes you have to walk up the stairs but that is charm of Amsterdam and you feel like a local using those stairs that are 100+ years old. Its like living in history with all modern conveniences. Feels like home atmosphere. This is a small B&B and the attention to detail is first class. The owners go out of thier way to make you feel welcome, its an old building tastefully refurbished and in a central location. Angelo is a fantastic host, the B&B is beautifully decorated, breakfast is plentiful, and the location is perfect! We had a great stay, if only all city B&Bs were like this one!. The traditional Amsterdam staircase (open, wooden, twisty) is not for everyone, so if you're scared of heights or have any mobility issues you will struggle. For me - it just added to the charm. Going up and down the stairs but it was good exercise. Didn't seem to have A/C or a fan in the room. Thankfully it was still chilly in Amsterdam. Not sure how this would be an inconvenience in a warmer Summer day. The signage on the front door is small and a bit confusing. Loved it! It may not be suitable for persons that can not climb the stairs. No lift, and the spiral steps up to the 3rd floor were a challenge to our dodgy knees, but that was the only downside. Stairs.. Hard to get luggage up. The only "not good" thing are the stairs, there are a lot but is really common in Amsterdam. Lots of stairs so perhaps not suitable for people with bad knees!. There was no airconditioning in the room which might be an issue during summer although we didn't have any problems during our stay in June. The 4 story climb up narrow, twisting staircase, but then again, what do you really expect in building nearly 300 years old?. Nothing. Nothing!. Located on third floor. The only thing people need to be aware of is the steep steps to each room. Nothing!. Was a hike to get the bags upstairs, but the owner helped us both on the way in and got up early to help us out. The delux suite is in the back of the hotel with high windows so there was not a view. The ONLY drawback to this location is that it has 3 floors of spiral stairs that you have to climb. Not a problem for people who are pretty mobile but could be an issue for older people or anyone with a disability. It has stairs no lift but Angelo helped us with the luggage. Many stairs to the entrance ;). Steep staircase, but that is a minor nuisance. Nothing!.
