This was our favorite hotel of our 2-week trip. Had we known, we would
have booked longer and spent more time exploring Valladolid, which is a
great city (and skipped Chichen Itza.) The hotel is a few blocks from
the city center, but an easy walk to the quaint central square or the

This place is a gem in Valladolid. It's only 5 blocks from the main square, its very beautiful, lush, clean and spacious. It has excellent service. They have a lot of green areas. To eat I highly recommend to go to the milkshake and juice place within a block on that same street, it has rainbow umbrellas. We are in love with Valladolid and from now on we will always try this to stay at this hotel.

We stayed for two days in Valladolid, exploring the area by rental car then moved on to another city. The entire place is very clean and full of interesting art from all over Mexico. Unl Once nice touch is the flag gallery which represents all of Casa Hamaca's guests.

Dennis, the owner. Staff very professional and accommodating. The
B&B was beautiful. The breakfast was delicious and lots to choose
from. The rooms were spacious, and beautifully decorated with a hammock.
It was a beautiful place to relax, enjoy the company of other travelers.
Dennis was an amazing person to tell us about the town, people, food. He
took the guest on Sunday to the market and his favorite place to eat. It
was truly a treat and very personable. I would return.

Excellent location, a block away from the central Zocalo (central square). Go on a Sunday, where there is a danzon on the zocalo with live bands, locals dancing, small food stops, etc.

The rooms are very clean and well decorated. The bathrooms are large and nice. The rooftop is probably the best part of the hotel. There are two dipping pools, several lounge chairs, and a nice view.
The location is perfect as well--just a couple blocks to the main square.
The internet connection was strong.
All in all, a really great stay, especially for the price.

I stayed five nights and the hotel was in an excellent location for
visiting the nearby Maya ruins which are an inexpensive taxi ride from
the hotel. The hotel is right on the main square and it was great to
watch the city come to life daily.
The on-site restaurant was great and served a wide variety of Maya and Mexican entrees, salads and dessert

My wife, daughter and I stayed at Casa Tia Micha for 3 nights. This
place is a jewel. The staff, including the owner Rosanelly, were all
incredibly friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to be
helpful and friendly. Rosanelly speaks excellent English, the rest of
the staff adequate (or none), but we speak enough Spanish to get by.

We loved Casa Tia Micha!! What a gem! A heavenly haven tucked away in the heart of Valladolid. As soon as you walk into the foyer it feels warm and welcoming. We stayed in the Santa Ana Honeymoon Suite for two nights. It was spacious, impeccably clean and comfortable. The garden area is cool, tranquil and lovely. Breakfast is served in the garden every morning. All the food was homemade and delicious - the best breakfasts we had during our entire trip through the Yucatan! The staff were amazing

This is a family owned and operated hotel. I can't possibly say enough good things about this family. The were incredible!
The breakfasts were the best I've ever had at any BnB and their warm and friendly attitude was amazing. So helpful with suggestions for places to visit like unknown Cenotes on nearby ranchos. I will be back!!
I feel like I made life-long friends and was only there for 2 nights!
