Right in front of the Imperial garden and 5 steps away from the metro station hanzomon. Very central location to reach any other area in Tokyo. Excellent value for money. It feels like a 5 stars hotel. Highly recommended.

The area is very quiet office area with no restaurants nor shops.

Next to Hanzomon subway station, good sized standard twin room, lots of toiletries including toothbrushes, razors, hair clips etc. Really great value for money including cooked American breakfast or choice of Japanese. Although conversed with staff in Japanese, many can speak English and did so with my son. For a so-called budget hotel, it is excellent.

Not really anything I didn't like. A guest laundry would have been nice.

Room was spacious by Japanese standard . Amazing view on the 17th floor. Opposite the Imperial Palace grounds which is so beautiful.

Location (near the subway) really calm good Japanese Breakfast

The room was non-smoking but it smells of cigarettes. It was impossible to open the window.

Hotel view is one of the best. Free wifi, location is near subway station, experience. Water dispenser by floor, very good accomodation for a few days in Tokyo.

The hotel has a great location. My journey of 15 days by Japan was absolutely fantastic. Japanese culture is extraordinary. The people are very nice and definitely Japan is hundreds of years ahead of the West. Thanks to all Japanese. I'll be back soon because the country is the most organized and clean that I could imagine some day. The utopia of the West.

The most amazing room and service. Window view on the imperial palace! perfect restaurant with service! perfect location. Tokyo metro 2 mins… I will come back to this hotel!

Looking grand and the room rate is reasonable. Very comfortable for the Japanese style room although it is a bit room to accommodate 3 adults.

Quite far away even from the nearest train station. Not suitable for those sight-seeing. I took a taxi to go there from the Tokyo JR Station, North gate. The taxi fare is around ¥1550.

Very handy for sightseeing as close to Tokyo station & nearest train stop is on the purple metro line so only 20mins to Shibuya & about 20mins to Oshiage (skytree stop) room had a great view of the city lights at night & had a good selection of toiletries etc. bed was comfy

Room was small but that's apparently normal for Tokyo hotel rooms

I loved the general atmosphere and the friendly and helpful staff attitude. Brilliant choise for me. close to all the local shops, restaurents, metro, etc.

After locating the Purple Hanzomon Metro line, look for Exit No.1 and it is only a 4-5 min walk to the Grand Arc Hanzomon. Request a room with a view and you will see the moat which surrounds the Palace, also the Tokyo buildings which are lit at night.

This was our favourite Hotel during our Japanese trip! Our room (situated ot the 17th floor) was spotlessly clean, equipped with everything we needed and the view was just gorgeous. The staff was really helpful. Tokyo station is reachable by foot (without luggages) accrossing the park, but reachable with metro in 15 minutes using the red and purple (Hanzomon line), the station name is the same (Hanzomon). All the major sights are easily reachable from here by using the metro. Overall we have had a really good experience in this Hotel. I would give at least **** to Grand Arc Hanzomon :)

Great location, close to Tokyo Metro Hanzomon station. Last day of our trip kitchen chef prepared for us special breakfast after we complain of same breakfast every morning.

Breakfast everyday only two options: 1. Japanesse 2. American - scrambled eggs or sunny side up with ham or bacon. After one week I get fed up of the breakfast food so we ate outside.

Stayed at a suite for 3 nights, the best money I've spent on accommodations ever. A very modern, well designed room for guests' convenience, loved the shower/tub/sink and the separate toilet. A gorgeous view both from the living and the huge bedroom, which had very comfortable beds. Having a mini fridge was great too. Hotel staff was very courteous and professional. Breakfast (non-buffet) was good value for $7 as well. Literally it was worth every penny and more!

Metro hanzomon line doesn't connect to many other subway lines, but you can grab a taxi or easily walk a few blocks to jr or other station as well.

Very good breakfastfor as little as ¥740, you can also order a la cart for about 1200. I head a great view on the river and Imperial palace park. Felt verycomfortable. The staff wasfriendly and helpful.

Very good location convenient to transport and restaurants.

It's our fault, but we booked a Japanese room without knowing the consequences: there is no where to relax except on the tatami floor and the room had to be vacated at 5pm each evening for the staff to make up the futons, which then took up the whole room. What was not enjoyable was the distinct smell of smoke in the corridors.

Very good location, just 3 min walk to Hanzomon station. Acceptable prices also in the Hotel's restaurants. Staff had good English, answering emails before checking-in. Clean and quiet room despite of heavy traffic nearby. Good airconditioning Little fridgerator in the room Clean-up frequency

The Japanese room with Tatami not comfortable for Europeans (no bed, no chair). Would recommend normal rooms with beds and chairs. The room was just too small for the 2 of us. Cabinets were too small for two persons, we could not fit. Selection in the Hotel's main restaurant was too small.

The hotel was a great stay. Staff are nice and efficient. Breakfast was inexpensive and a good feed too! The position of the hotel is amazing for the view, all the top spots avaliable for viewing from most rooms. I had a city view room. Accessability to Tokyo station took 2 subway trains but only a few stops away. Also go to the ninja restaurant in asasaka, its a 10 min walf from the hotel. I little expensive but good entertainment.

Location was good, with great views. Hotel happily looked after our bags for the day before we departed the country. Room was small, but we knew that when we booked it and it was great to have free wifi. We got a good deal on line so thought it was value for money.

The bed was hard and uncomfortable with the springs practically poking out the top of the mattress. Can't say if this is the case for all the beds, but it was for ours

It's a business hotel with the small-sized rooms typical of Japanese business hotels, but the view of the palace and gardens was beautiful and the location is quite central; on the Hanzomon line and very convenient to Ginza and Marunouchi lines. Very good value for the money.

The hotel was located in such a great location and close to some of the significant visit points such as Shibuya or Harajuku. All room has a view towards the tokyo city, Tokyo Tower or the imperial palace.

Breakfast menu can do with some variations, we stayed there got three mornings and they only had three selected continental breakfasts. We booked a Japanese room so we can experience the traditional Japanese sleeping arrangement however we did not get quite use to it and requested for an extra futon for one of us. We were advised that they couldn't meet our request because the hotel was full? And lastly, a warning about the adult channel would be greatly appreciated!

Clean and helpful staff. As we spent all the day outside, I cannot say about leisure areas, but it was very efficient for our needs.

The room is confortable, but small. If you come back late at night, the metro station around the hotel can be closed and you will have to take expensive taxis from the other stations that are not so close.
