The two best things about this small hotel was the owner Ettore and the location.

Ettore was a wonderful and thoughtful host that made our stay very enjoyable. He was tremendously helpful in answering any of our questions. He offered a great overview of things to see and do not only in Sorrento but on the Amalfi Coast. He was very knowledgeable about the area and was able to suggest some great restaurants. Very central location for public transport during the day and restaurants during the evening. Clean apartment with very friendly staff. A little noisy as it is above a busy street, but room was double-glazed and air-conditioned. - Location was great . Ivan and Fabbiana are exceptional hosts - we were grateful to have such wonderful people welcome us to Sorrento. I loved the warm, welcoming staff and Giovanni's delicious cappuccinos.
The breakfast was delicious, the location was smack dab in the center of everything, and the room was spacious and clean, clean, clean. If you're looking for a formal environment where staff doesn't speak unless spoken to, this isn't the place for you. Palazzo Montefusco feels like you're staying with old friends. My daughter and I had an incredible, relaxing time at Villa Pane. Last year I stayed in a hotel in Sorrento but this was much much better. We had a large, clean room with terrace and an amazing view of the Bay but the best thing was the hospitality of the family and the staff. I can also really recommend dinner in the evening. Villa Pane felt like home! Gianluigi and Ana Maria were so welcoming. Their villa is beautiful surrounded by the hills of Sorrento with lemon, fig, olive, orange trees everywhere. We traveled along the amalfi coast all the way to Sorrento on a 7 day trip. Throughout our trip we were disappointed by the lack of cleanliness and comfort the hotels provided on the coast... until we came across Magi House Relais. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. (Thank you Roberta!)

Great location in the old quarter in the center of Sorrento. Everything was perfect. The apartment was bi-level, bedroom and bathroom downstairs and a small kitchen upstairs, which allowed us to cook a few nights and then dine out a few nights. It is also an easy 30 minute train ride from Sorrrento to Pompei and 15 more minutes to Herculanaem. Staff at Magi House were wonderful. The owner Mariano wants to make sure that you have a great stay.

Highly recommended. Right in the heart of Sorrento. Only 15 minutes walk to train station and bus depot. We had a spacious room overlooking the piazza. Friendly and helpful staff. We would definitely stay there again when we return to Sorrento. No lifts, so you better practice lifting your suitcases up a few flight of stairs. I didn't mind because

My wife and stayed here for 3 nights.Staff were very friendly and helpfull.Rooms were very comfortable and very clean.
Excellent location not far from train station.No breakfast area but rooms have kettle and there are yogurts and fruit drinks left in fridge each day,there is also a basket of chocolate bars and bruschetta .

We bookd originally for two days, but then stayed for all six of our time in the region. The room was upgraded (without extra cost) and the view and breakfast were as good as others have commented on. We had a car, but it is possible to use the buses (as we did when going by boat to Naples and Capri) and driving can be an experience in this part

The staff were excellent and the little chalets were a refreshing change from a multi storey hotel.
It's a ten minute walk to the main square but as a result it's a peaceful retreat. There's a great restaurant called Fillippo about a five minute walk away.
The breakfast was superb, lots of choice and reasonable quality food. -

We stayed 6 nights in Maison Tofani which is a great little hotel in the historical centre of Sorrento, decorated in the best Italian style. We had a large room with a big bed, a sofa and armchairs, a bathroom with shower - and free wifi! The room overlooked the narrow shopping street.
