From the harbor we were picked up by the hotel. On arrival we got a drink, and our luggage was directly sent to our room. We got an upgrade to a room with sea view.
The hotel has a great outdoor pool, and is well maintained.
The hotel has two on site restaurant which are good.
The hotel has a nice SPA.
You really get the feeling they want to do

My my, what a hard review to write. I can tell you now, that these
photos or anything I write here, will not do this hotel justice. If you
are looking at this hotel now however, give yourself a highfive, cause
you have just found a gem. I have pretty much been raised in five star
hotels and have seen them all. It is upsetting when you book a hotel

Do not compare a 5* hotel in Sicily with a 5* hotel anywhere else in the world...Saying that, we had a lovely time despite some flaws, exploring the Etna region and playing golf on the oldest golf course in Sicily nearby (green fee reduction when you stay in the hotel). Make sure to visit Castiglione di Sicilia about 1/2 hr. away. Hotel is in a very quiet area in well kept grounds, perfect for a short break. Good Wi-Fi connection in rooms, but somehow slow speed (as everywhere in Sicily).

The location of the Hotel was great - just 15min walk to Ibla and in the
center of all other attractions of Ragusa, opposite to the cathedral.
The Hotel it self is in one of the old palaces. The service was great,
especially the receptionist Michele, who was at our disposal for any

The hotel is up hill on new Ragusa area. The service is 5 stars, breakfast is good, rooms are very cute and well decorated, very romantic. We were there just for 1 night and were very impressed with the quality of service. The hotel was a antique house of upscale family from old times turned into a hotel. It is very charming and you can walk around the hotel and imagine how life used to be in the past in that house.

This "grande dame" of a hotel, while somewhat dated in
appearance, is in a fabulous location right on the waterfront in Ortigia
- the historic center of Siracusa. Parking is easy and reasonable-a huge

Breakfast on the warm, sunny roof lookinf at the harbour. Drinks up there until mid to late evening. The friendly staff. Largish room with sea view. Easy to get to and pay car park wwas handy. Lots of great food vry nearby. Ortigia is the best part of town.

The hotel provided a shuttle service free of charge. There was a lovely man waiting for us when we got off the hydrofoil, which made the travel a lot less stressful. All of the staff were fantastic and made our stay a very pleasant one. We would love to return to Lipari one day and would definitely stay here again. Thank you to all of the wonderful

I'm not much of a golf or spa person; I picked the place mainly on location and having an outdoor pool. The pool or should I say pools is great. Very big, so you can get a real swim even if there are kids cavorting around, and there's a longer separate pool if you really want to pound along. I loved this hotel. Everything is perfect. The hotel has a greate design with a fantastic bar and restaurant with a very romantic views overlooking the bay. The staff is supernice and really make you feel welcome. This is a lovely place to stay if you want a bit of luxury and romance. It is offcourse a bit expensive also the bar and restaurant. But that is understandable - you get what you are paying for so it is OK.
