Out of all the different options we had, we (3 friends) chose an apartment managed by Biriola Holiday - mainly because of the huge number of positive reviews. We were glad to be there in the low season, when Cala Gonone is almost empty (i.e. no tourists), -
We traveled to Cala Gonone as a young couple and found Residence Biriola very easy to find. Upon arriving we were greeted by Bruno, the elder statesman of the residence, who was quite simply charming. He took us around, showed us the garden at the back and told us we could help ourselves to the fresh herbs and chillis. It was a lovely welcome, followed up by an offer of coffee and cake with Giovanna and Bruno. Quite simply the nicest welcome you could get. Our apartment gave us a perfect, eleva

We did really like to hotel staff, their flexibility to our request. Thebreakfast was really good. We had an appartment and the kitchen was wellprepared. Also there was a washing mashine in the bathroom. We plan toreturn to the hotel. - staff

Great value for money and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. All rooms seem to have either a balcony or their own patio/chairs etc.. Rooms cleaned to a high standard every day and towels replaced. Very efficient air con. Also has mini bar, safe, television, hairdryer etc... All the things you would expect to find in a good hotel but the

Lovely pool which was visibly cleaned daily Would highly recommend :-) -
The staff we met were so friendly and acted on any requests promptly and efficiently. The hotel is within an easy 15 minute stroll of the village centre and yet remote from the hurly burly. Great Pool, extremely clean. Rooms clean and of good size and quality of daily maintenance of rooms and towel changes really good. The night reception staff member Giovanni was so welcoming after a really late arrival following a stressful journey.

We booked our stay rather late as a result of a last-minute change of location (had second thoughts about another booking) and requested a sea-view if possible. Almost everything. Good location, very nice personel, nice interior design, close to sea, close to main street in La Caletta. The noise from nearby locations I read about was not disturbing at all. The room was small but had all that was needed. It was very clean and well kept.
