Location is perfect for visiting Milan. Within easy walking distance of the Duomo and an excellent location to pick up day trips from Milan to Como, etc. Restaurants abound within a couple of blocks as well as endless shopping opportunities. Not the Westin but not the price either, an excellent value considering the location. -

The hotel was very well maintained. There is a small elevator which was great for heavy bags. My room was attended every day and the towels were changed daily. The staffs are excellent, they are very nice and helpful.
The location of the hotel is good, easy to get to the main attractions and all the public transportation in Milan. But, it is a little bit difficult to find the hotel at the beginning.
The hotel is really good for single travellers especially for those who would like to walk through the city like me.

I do not agree with any of the negative reviews on this absolutely
magnificent hotel. You get what you pay for and maybe even more. The

The Hotel La Madonnina is actually one of the best hotels where i was. It is located just 100m from Duomo, very good connected to lines of public transportation. Design of hotel and rooms is ergonomic and comfortable. Fascilities include air-conditioning, TV, Wi-Fi free of charge, fridge, safe. The bed is very cozy, whippy and silent. This hotel I stayed at in Milan at the end of my short trip to Italy was a very pleasant surprise.
It’s very unusual and welcoming and even though it’s a 3 star, compared to the dull 4 star hotel I slept in in Florence prior to my arrival and also in the other apparently superior quality hotels I stayed in previously, it was decidedly better!
I loved the variety and the quality of the breakfast, the originality of the design and structure and the careful way it’s been looked after.

It's an ideal place/location for people on business trip. However if you want to give access to people who are doing business shopping it would be good to have facilities such as scale to check weight of luggage, a place to pack luggages, it can be outside or in the parking.
