Giuliana was sooooo nice! Not only did she show us our room, explained
our to use the keys, she also recommended various really good
restaurants and gelaterias and marked everything on our map.The B&B
itself is old ( according to Giuliana, it was built in the 16th century)
but very clean and comfortable. Its location is right in the historical

center and everything is in walking distance. It takes roughly 15 mins
to walk from the train station, but if you have a lot of luggage you can

From the moment a friendly face met us at the door, to the time of our departure when our bags had been stored whilst we wandered for the last time after check-out, we appreciated everything about A Florence View. The location - just round the corner from the Duomo: from the terrace there was a clear view to the Duomo, Baptistry and the Campanile. The room was very good, well furnished and with plenty of space. Silvia who we met on arrival was wonderful helping us with parking
arrangements for our car . She made reservations for us at a wonderful
restaurant on the opposite side of the Arno river where we had the best
meal in Florence. Excellent cappuccino for Breakfast on the terrace
facing the Duomo wow what a view. The location is absolutely fantastic

The location is incredible. Right outside my window, so close I almost
felt I could touch it, was the fantastically beautiful Il Duomo de
Firenze (cathedral), Florence's most popular sight to see. You
immediately feel like it's *your* piazza since you "live"

Really very good location. Quite close to Piazza del Duomo, and few minutes walk to the railway station. We cannot find it on via Roma at first, for we cannot believe this would be a B&B when looked outside. The decoration is very friendly, and the staff are helpful. A total class act. This B&B over exceeded my expectations in every way. You will not find a better location in Florence. Located just a few feet from Florence Cathedral, this hotel/B&B exudes so much class with a affordable rate.
The room, shower and bathroom are what you'd expect from a 4 star hotel. Staff are friendly and happy to speak English to their guests. Total class act, when I come back this WILL BE the hotel I try to stay at again. Grazie!

The location of this hotel is superb. It is right next to the Duomo! We got upgraded to a bigger room, however the view from the room is minimal. The room is very clean, they provide all the facilities you need. There's a shared kitchen, where you can store your drinks, fresh fruit, etc. This hotel is really value for money! -

Perfect location. Crawling distance to the Duomo. In the heart of Florence. Loved Lorenzo and his mom Barbara. Very clean, very comfortable and included a lovely self serve breakfast. The staff is well prepared and open for any flexibility as the client requires. We spoke in Italian, not sure about his other language skills. It is located in the city center, 1 minute from the dom. Breakfast is the simplest Italian - a croissant with a cappuccino at a nearby bar. Pet friendly.

We had a great time at Residenza Gambrinus. Since there was the cycling
world championships during our stay, many streets in the city center
were blocked. The owner of the hotel met us outside the city center and
guided us directly to a central garage where we could leave our car

Arriving at the Residenza, we realized how central the hotel really is -

A perfect location to see Florence as it was in the centre for shopping and sightseeing. Extremely clean with modern fittings and nothing was too much trouble for the host . It was a bit tricky finding the location and bags have to be taken up I flight of stairs in order to reach the lift . The concierge is only there for limited hours.. But none of this worried us as the location and standard of facilities was well worth it .

Hotel is very centrally located and it is easy to get to all interesting places. The street is busy and sometimes a little noisy (people, not cars) but it does not disturb you that much - you just feel yourself a part of a big tourist crowd:)
We stayed in a room for 4 people. It was good, clean and nicely decorated.
Breakfast is basic but it has everything one may need including some fruits.
