The hotel was fine. Very busy in the holidays. The free wifi as advertised did not work at all and they didn't particularly seem to care. Breakfast was good. beds were comfortable. we walked into the old town which was fine
wifi wasn't working and I don't really think it was going to. They blamed the busy time, but didn't particularly seem to care. Maybe recommend Alghero if it was not in summer holidays. Way too crowded. Avoid in August
Ciao! If you want to feel real Italian hotelatmosphire, please take this hotel. This hotel is not the most modern, but that was reason I liked it - beautiful ja peaceful piscina-area, nice lunch at hotel - 40 metres from sea! - 10 metres from the best restaurant I had in my week in Alghero (restaurant DAPS) - just nice Italian atmosphere in hotel - you never get that in big hotels - I and my husband were only finnish people - that was good!
- in our room we did not have a mini-bar (I would like to keep limonad there) - but it was not very important
Shower and hip bath needed some attention, but it was acceptable for 1 night
Location
Price. Somewhat tired and courtyard dirty.
Small and friendly hotel. We had a room at the front of the hotel, so had beautiful sea and city views. Good, self service breakfast. Room was kept very clean. The lovely sandy beach is only about 5 mins walk. Good restaurant opposite the hotel if you don't fancy the 15 minute walk to the old city, where a majority of the restaurants where.
We had one of the nicer rooms, but still a little dated. It's a good 15 minute walk in to the old city where a majority of the restaurants are, though the restaurant over the road from the hotel was good.
Cleanliness
Very thin walls, could hear the next door people snore
