  This is a wonderfully situated apartment almost in the heart of the old East Berlin, but in a very quiet street just 3 mins away from Friedrichstrasse Station. There's a lovely little shop just across the road which is open until late and a bakery a little further along the street. All our queries before the holiday were answered quickly and thoroughly which was a big help. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed, and the location is fantastic - loads to do in local area and train station 5

  The hotel was absolutely great!!! Very centrally located, lots of shops, clubs and restaurants nearby. I arrived at Friedrichstrasse train station and walked in less than 5 min to the hotel.   Excellent location, within walking distance of many places of interest. Stasi exhibition, Topography of Terror, Checkpoint Charlie, all in the immediate vicinity. Can walk to Brandenburg Gate/Unter Den Linden which we did with 2 young children and kids Grandmother. Stadmitte U Bahn also very close. Rooms on the small side but we literally were out all day and were only looking for a place to p - Clean, comfy beds, quiet location but only minutes away from fantastic Christamas market at Gendarme Market. Good mix of clientel young, kids, mature, business etc. Checkpoint Charlie about 200yds away. Amazing chocolate shop around corner. Staff were friendly and always helpful. The breakfast was one of the best I've ever had, great choice. Healthy fruit and cereals to bacon, sausage and scrambled eggs.   The place is really good to stay. It is easy to find and close to check in. Moreover, it is the center of the city: 3 min to Check Point Charlie and 15 min to Branderburg Tor and Museum Island. U-bahn is also close to the apartment, so you can get almost everywhere shortly. Clean towels, floor, kitchen; although, it is small, but comfortable. I recommend booking an apartment only for those that will stay +4 nights, otherwise it is not worth it.
