We were traveling by train so having the main train station 10 minute walk away from the hotel was convenient. Also 10 to 15 minute walk to city center. Staff very helpful. - Excellent value for the money. Excellent location.

This hotel is perfect for those who are looking for a short budget stay near the railway station. We have stayed in this hotel for 1 night and had a room for 3. All beds were very comfortable and room was big enough for 3 people. The breakfast was very satisfying. The railway station is only 5-10 minutes away by walk. I would stay there again.

The location of the hotel is excellent. Very easy walk to many sights and both U & S stations. Easy to get from airport, many good restaurants nearby.
Beds are very comfortable, room very clean, breakfast selection also very good.
Management cleared up a dispute over a broken light switch to our satisfaction. Front desk staff all very friendly and helpful.

This is our second time staying at the Hotel an der Oper and we chose it again for its excellent location. The location is fabulous. You can walk to everything -- and we did! Most of the top sights of Munich are right nearby. The same is true of many of the best restaurants and shops. The staff was very helpful with reservations, including getting us excellent seats at a very popular performance of Rigoletto, which was right around the corner. They also selected and reserved a perfect restaurant for our first night in the city. Very nice!
