this hotel is beyond my expectation with good location and friendly stuff. I do not feel any noise as described by other comment. It is a good choice to stay in St Malo. -
Great location inside the Old wall of St Malo. Has a garage which is a major plus and is in a quiet position but minutes from everything.

We only stayed one night but it was very comfortable and welcoming.As
we had an early ferry we missed breakfast but had coffee and biscuits
put up for us.A Good location close to beach and ferry will definitely
use again. -

Helpful staff, clean and attractive rooms, excellent location. Connecting rooms helpful as we had children. Hotel has been transformed since I stayed there 25 years ago! We would happily stay there again. - Position of the hotel in the old town - lovely views of the town from our bedroom windows. Helpful friendly staff. Very sufficient breakfast

We loved everything - the location so close to the lovely old town, the sea view from our side balcony, the well equipped kitchenette, the huge bed, the modrrn decor, modern bathroom, great shower, nice towels and toiletries and the staff. Room is big and clean, all daily necesities are available, bed is quite comfortable.
Reception staff very kind and helpfull, they gave us list of best local restaurants and advised which are the best - we tried 2 of 4 and both were perfect.
Parking is inside hotel and spaceous enough for big car.
Hotel located outside of old sity but it takes only 10-15 minutes walk and the route is going along seaside, so it is very pleasant.

Excellent breakfast room. Excellent variety of food for breakfast and excellent value for money. Certainly will stay there again. - Everything from reception to quality of staff and standard of the room. Good value for money.

The breakfast, the decor and the location were all fantastic.The parking facilities were excellent (own private garage for 10 euros a day) also. - Very pleasant staff/management. excellent location in the heart of the old town

We found this hotel to be convenient to the walled city of St. Malo and to other amenities, it is about a 20 minute walk to St. Malo or just a short-hop bus journey just three stops away.We found the hotel to be very clean, the food in the restaurant was very good and the use of the indoor swimming pool was an excellent start to every day. the staf

Enjoyable walking distance (along seafront) from old Saint-Malo and its great shops and restaurants. Friendly, kind and welcoming. 1st rate swimming pool, coffee available at the bar in late evening, excellent room, adjustable bed, multi-channel tv and breakfast. And all a few minutes away from our ferry port in the morning. We'd gladly return and probably will.

Hotel was beautiful, very elegant, the staff were very friendly and accommodating, we travelled with an 11 month old baby and they offered us use of the microwave, washed bottles etc. The location of this hotel is also excellent, away from the hussle of the city but only a 20 min walk away along the seafront, also the parking on site is very hand

Wonderful place to stay in Rotheneuf, a quiet area of St-Malo, about 7-8 minutes drive to the Intra-Muros. The owners have done an exceptional job of redesigning the building to accommodate a quaint B & B. Villa Esprit de Famille combines the best features of a hotel and a B and B. It's friendly and family run, comfortable and immaculately clean and set in the beautiful village of Rotheneuf, part of Saint-Malo. Rooms are spacious; breakfast is heavenly as they use local produce and Jean-Francois makes his own series of jams (I'd particularly recommend the apricot and rosemary!). The village has a beautiful beach, an excellent baker, butcher/traiteur, creperie and sea-food restaurant and a shop

Friendly staff, English spoken. Recommended an excellent restaurant nearby when we said we wanted French food. Ample breakfast (for France) justified the higher-than-average price. - Staff could not have been more helpful. Removed his own car from his own private parking area to enable us to secure our motorcycles! everything came with a smile!

Very pleasant welcome from receptionist. It has 24 hr reception. We could park immediately outside or anywhere on the road without paying and apparently it is a non-problem area, so felt safe to leave belongings in the car. Great location being close to the port in St Malo. Room is large and clean. Breakfast is ok. Nice to receive complimentary Bretagne biscuits in the room.
