It's amazing how the staff cares about you. The men that was on duty
when I checked-in gave me much more information about what to do than
the "office de Tourisme" (which main role should be this). I
got there before check in time but could take the room straight away.

Robert at the reception desk is extremely helpful. He gave suggestions
for dinner, which was wonderful. He also gave us a simple photocopied
map of Metz and drew a walking trail highlighting must see spots. He
also directed us to the correct bus to visit our son at his study abroad
campus. This was very important as we speak no French and there were few
in the town that could converse in English. The room was large and
comfortable. The hotel is very convenient to the train station. Free

The 3 star hotel was good value for money with breakfast included and offered what was necessary for a comfortable stay in the room or hotel lounge (complimentary tea, water etc). This is a great hotel. Two blocks from the Metz Train Station, so easy
walking. The breakfast was impressive, ample, and delicious. The staff
was excellent! Very helpful, kept our bags before room check-in and
after so we can tour the city. I highly recommend this hotel. Also, the
room was very roomy!

What a surprise. The stay in this chambres d' hotes is a real joy. A sunny reception in the garden after our ride in the rain. We have had a marvelous dinner and breakfast and a good night sleep.

The B&B was great- very "French farmhouse". The breakfasts
were wonderful every morning and our hostess did everything she could to
make our stay pleasant. We forgot our suits but the pool looked
wonderful. Quiet, nice place to stay. Beds very comfortable. -

We were on a motorbike tour and we stayed for a 1night stopover hotel before travelling on to Vosges Mountains. Having read poor feedback about the nearby Campanile and other hotels already full it meant we had to pay a bit more for a room than we would normally. Room lovely, if a little small. Everything worked as it should. The staff were very pleasant, polite and helpful. We missed breakfast one morning and the restaurant manager took the trouble to get coffee and croissants for us, despite him being very busy preparing for a wedding. The hotel is in a great position for visiting the area, or for passing through. Metz centre is 10 minutes by car.

the view from the room, we didn't see the stuff because we were traveling alot, but everything was running smoothly - The hotel is idyllically situated in front of the church and along the river side and park. The mentioned cement plant is just a blending facility, located at the border of the village. The restaurant offers excellent food, a Bib Go
