  We were here for two nights with our two young children in an adjoining suite of rooms (Margaux et Jules). With a satnav we found the place without any trouble (though I wouldn't have wanted to be without it!) and were impressed on our arrival with the attractiveness of the setting, the chateau itself and our rooms.   The women conscierges were wonderful, allowing us to relax in France andpractice our flawed French. We were able to picnic poolside after hours,just relax in a beautiful house. We had many requests for extra towels,ashtray for cigars, directions, etc, and each was met with a smile. Wewould love to return. Ambroise is a lovely town and is a great place to stay and take day trips to the area's many chateaux, and the chateaux at Amboise itself is lovely. If I were to go back again, I'd want to stay again at Le Manois Saint Thomas. I recommend it highly!

The position of the hotel was great and allowed us to explore Amboise on foot with great access to restaurants and shops. Located in a quiet countryside village about a 15 minute drive from Amboise, it is perfectly situated for exploring the Loire Chateau country as well as discover some of the excellent wineries in the area. The 1st floor had a great den/seating area with comfortable chairs and a couch fronted by - We loved this accommodation from the moment we arrived. Met by smiling Anna who immediately showed us everything in our accommodation. We stayed in the 2 storey. Self contained with everything that you could possibly need. The upstairs attic bedroom was large and so pretty. Anna has gone to great lengths with the interior design and it is perfect!
