This was our 6th visit to Bordeaux, having previously stayed at other luxury hotels in the city. Villa Cosy provides a luxury, yet very welcoming and personal service, with only 3 guest rooms. Our room (Andy Warhol) was spacious and comfortable with every facility. Geraldine kindly provided information on the city, together with recommendations for restaurants and made bookings for us. Although I had some difficulty finding Villa Cosy (given its understated exterior), the proprietor was awaiting my arrival and welcomed me. Little did I know what a hidden gem this place was, as the interior is both modern and elegant. The room was large and cozy, and breakfast was served en-suite. Although it is a short walk into town, I like that this place is "off the beaten track". I will undoubtedly stay here again when in Bordeaux.
The accommodation, from the entrance hall and downstairs lounge area to the beautiful Driftwood Room was absolutely stunning. Breakfast delivered to our room at our chosen time was another major feature. The breads, pastries and fresh fruit and yoghurt along with some coffee from the Nespresso machine were all wonderful. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have slept in and the whole place was spotlessly clean.
Location - just 5/10 min walk to centre but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful at night. Lovely building inside and our room (Andy Warhol) was beautiful. Our private terrace was great. Breakfast was so fresh and yummy! Geraldine and Fransois are really friendly. Would not hesitate to recommend Villa Cosy it was just perfect.
Warm friendly hosts, close in the center location for Bordeaux,
without being right in the middle. Wonderful breakfast brought to you.
It was like this little elf came and deposited a tray of yummy morning
treats, set them in front of your door, then a gentle knock followed,
and left quickly.
The building has been renovated into a high class B&B. It has everything one needs and exceeds the standard of a 5 star hotel. Geraldine, the host is extremely charming and does everything possible to ensure that your stay is a memorable one.
We stayed in the Andy Wharrol room which was great with a nice
terrrace and a one king size round bed. It was close to the historic
center yet very quit. The owners was very helpful and gave good advise
on where to go.

The rooms are all at first or second floor level and the only access is through a spiral staircase so getting luggage to your room can be a problem.
Didn't mind the spiral staircase but could be a problem for some especially if you have the top Andy Warhol room. Having said that it is worth it when you get there.

Narrow spiral stairs could be a bit tricky for some, though hosts were happy to help carry bags.
It would be much better if the shower had a "porte sabon" and the room a full lenght mirror and an armchair.
