The location is superb; it's right next to central train station, and it's also the final stop of Finnair airport shuttle bus (30 min.ride; driver can take credit cards). Location for attending the Flow Rock Festival (saw incredible Kraftwerk!!) and for bus travel to/from the airport was unbeatable.
Right next to the main train station/metro and facing an open bus staion - yet without any of that sleaziness that infects European train/bus stations.
Finns are just too nice to be sleazy and are also darn good-looking!!! They have to be the handsomest race I have ever or will ever see.

We stayed at Hotel Finn on night. Rooms were clean, service was nice.
They don't have a kitchen or serve any breakfast. Rooms were small
but clean. Rooms are decorated in the style of 60's and the shower
was from the 60's also with its flexible hose (this means that you
can't rotate the shower or you will have no water at all). Location
is perfect. Bed was good, pillows weren'T. It's just an ok hotel
right in the center of Helsinki.

The hotel position is great just few blocks away from central station.
Staff was kind and room clean, comfortable and soundproof, though the hotel is located directly on the street and just above the pub.
After check out they were also so kink to keep our (cabin size) luggage for the morning.

I am a very regular business traveller and I kow what to expect - they managed to exceed my expectations each day - lots of small things where they went "above and beyond" to make me feel welcome. Like I asked for a milk for the in-room tea and they had no sachets left so they fetched me a jug of fresh milk from the restaurant; that kind of thing.

Jugend-room was lovely, and I liked the whole atmosphere. It was nice also to have two great bars in the hotel - American Bar street-level which has best drinks in Helsinki and Ateljee Bar in floor 14 where you can see the whole city. It's a nice and very quiet hotel in the centre of Helsinki. Great for anyone who wants to live right in the centre and very close to all the shops, restaurants and the Central Train Station etc. Not a luxury place but certainly does what it says on the tin. Very contemporary design. You get into the hotel with a door code which you also use for your room and the lifts.

Perfect location, just a five-minute walk from the station and about 10 minutes to the Esplanade. Cozy, clean, well-occupated nice furnished modern room. Stable wi-fi connection in the room. Nice bed, choice of pillows. Pretty good hair-dryer in the bathroom. Friendly staff but that is usual for Finland I think. -

The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. Breakfast was well-stocked and the bar and cafe on ground floor looked tidy and comfy. Room (twin) was clean and spacious, and had what I needed. Very well noise-insulated room, I did not hear a peep from outside. -
