It is the best location and best cost performance you can get in Shanghai as a visitor,if you take a look at what are the other hotels and their price around.
Facilities are minimal but clean and comfort enough for just a sleep.
WiFi is strong, lots of TV channels if you understand Chinese, so you don't get bored.
The location is fantastic, just 10 m from East Nanjing Road. Also there are 2 metro stations nearby.
The rooms are clean, not very spacious, but enough for 2-3 nights stay.
The staff was ok, but they didn't spoke english, so not much help. Anyway they tried to help us as much as they could.
Wifi ok in the room.όλα τα σχόλια »
Best location for the price of this 2 stars hotel.
Only 30 metres to Nanjing Pesdestrain Walk and
Bus stop for City Sightseeing Bus which will bring you around Shanghai City for 30RMB. The Bund is nearby
within walking distance. Two subway train stations nearby.
Definitely will stay again in my next visit to SH.
Imagine a hotel for less than 20 GBP on Oxford street! Thats what you get here - great value, right on the main Shanghai shopping street, easy walk to Peoples Square and the Bund. Rooms basic but clean. All in all highly recommend for any type of traveller - location and value - travellers dream!!.
location is perfect!just in the very center,5 mins from the metro station, surrounded with shops, malls, bus stations, restaurants, banks.
a double-decker sightseeing bus stops just near the hotel
a free map,in english,by the way
one person in reception spoke english
clean and cheap
free toilettries.
Location! Location! Location! Just right in front the shopping street of Nanjing. Room size is really small for single room but really acceptable given the location, rates as i only spend my time sleeping after midnight and awake and out at 8am. Still the bed is comfortable enough.
This hotel is located within one of the best shopping districts in the city- east nanjing road. Travellers have the best of every world available to them at this location; great western/local foods, ease of transportation, and cheap shopping. The room was clean.
Great location in the city centre, English speaking and helpful receptionist, good value for money, clean and comfortable room, nice bathroom, overall very good impression.
location is very good, using people's square metro station exit:19 the closest.
price is cheap for that location
single room bed is very big
wifi works in rooms and fast.
The location is excellent and the price is low. You don't get much, but if you just want to stay the night and be able to walk to the Bund in 10 minutes, this is it.
Nice cosy and clean room, very convenient location. Great that there is wifi too. Will recommend to friends and family.
Located in the heart of the city, everything on the doorstep. Nice room,
good facilities. Excellent value for money.
It's a decent hotel with adequate facilities.Very near Nanjing Road.Frontdesk staff speak good english.
Location, city transport near-by, clean place, friendly staff.
Great location with a great price. I would stay there again.

Free internet
Bathtub.
The hotel is at the vantage point.
The best location in Shanghai.
The location is very good.
Location was amazing!.
i liked the location.
The economy rooms were extremely small for our standard. Was a mistake to book that but we upgraded to standard room immediately. They were spacious and comfortable. I must say excellent location, most convenient for eateries and shopping.
Helpful and friendly staff, room cleaning always prompt and efficient. Flat screen TV and air conditioning in all rooms. Excellent location, close to everything and a really good dumpling restaurant next to this hotel.
its location is good, reachable from the airport by green line directly.
bed was comfortable.
there was free wi-fi internet in the room.
very central. staff spoke adequate english. didnt charge although we were late to check out. they would give you free bottles of water.
The room was large and the beds confortable. Excellent location in the heart of Shanghai, and still rather quiete (past 10 p.m.).
The standard room has the best value for money ... Great confort and good view sometimes!.
- Good location, around 20M from from East Nanjing Pedestrian Street
- Spacious bed room.
Awesome location
Staff helpful got the room changed at 1am due to not working A/c.
The location was really great. Right at the heart of Shanghai.
Excellent location, clean bathroom, comfy beds.
the cleaness of the hotel is quite good.
Very close to the main street.
The hotel place exllent.
The location was good.
nice location.
place is good.
Price value is good. Location is perfect, price is OK, Japanese unit bathroom is great.
its location was central to everything and very cheap.
Sheets and floor clean. Price. Location. Quiet.
good location (station and famous place).
its very central.
When checking the available rooms, look carefully at the size. The single room is literally the smallest I have ever stayed in, it is even difficult to open a large suitcase.
Forget about staff, facilities and breakfast. The location of this hotel make up for all the deficiency.
Bring a bath towel with you - as is normal in China towels in room Westeners would consider hand towels.
a very small room
only 1 person spoke english in reception.
I had reserved a standard room, and they put me in a single room; which was like a closet. However since I didnt feel like arguing, and I was travelling solo I didnt press the issue.
Only two small towels so bring your own, otherwise perfect.
single room is really small and windows look other rooms windows, you can't see outside and they didn't put big towels.
Thin walls. You can practical hear conversations from the next room.
English language is not available. Very poor communication with most of the local people, incl. the hotel receptionists.
- Breakfast - Don't consider it;.
Room are very small
Internet not always working.
The hotel doesn't have service for iron the clothes.
Not ill of the Steff now a good English.
Room was very small.
the fact that staff is not able to adequately communicate in english.
Breakfast not good.
Found some crockcoaches in the rooms, but we did not complaint.
Unfortunately, there was no where to "chill out" and take a beer.
Although not quite the same thing, there is a chess room on the 5th floor.
Tiny bathroom, with shower connected to the bathroom sink. Abundant and strong flow of hot water through.
Small room with tiny window to the corridor.
a little noisy. breakfast too chinese. asked for a map and receptionist wanted to charge me 30RMB when the tourist info desk was only 100m. away and would give them for free.
It was not really clean, and the staff was not really helpful.
The staff should speak a better english..
The economic is unbelievably small and not comfortable at all...
- breakfast only steam bun, plain porage, steam egg, yogurt, pickle. Must pay for coffee
- wifii not stable
- floor carpet too old and not too clean
- towel too old.
Staff seemed pretty cold
hardly any English
breakfast very limited
Mind the rooms, can get noisy.
Definitely not the kind of room where you would want to spend any real time. Basically just a place to sleep, no access to sunlight or fresh air (AC worked great though).
Rooms are small but that is typical for China.
it is really small, just for two people, and the window can't open.
The front desk receptionists don't speak english.
The hotel breakfast too poor.
Very small room and only small towels in the bathroom, I asked for larger ones but they wouldn't give me one.
small room.
This hotel has almost nothing positive besides its location and price. Had to fight for the room we booked 2 hours and we could receive a similar with help of letsbookhotel.com only; room is very small, 2 people hardly fit, basically no cleaning available, staff not helpful and cannot speak English at all.
very small, only supplied small towels.
Bedbugs in first room. Second room seemed ok. No apology from staff on reception. Attempt to charge extra for the larger room I was moved to.
bug (Very small moths).
this was the second time i stayed in the hotel and apparently if you book the cheapest room you end up in a tiny hole with barely any space for luggage and no body towels.
No bath room towel no user friendly attitude
Not clean.
