Interesting location, as opposed to the typical Zona Sul hotels.

We stayed here for a week and we had a wonderful time. The hotel looks old but our room was nice and clean. You should know that most of the hotels in Rio are old .the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel front desk & concierge taff were excellent, very friendly, and provided excellent information/touring suggestions. Additionally there was always someone on duty who spoke very good English! Location on Impenama Beach was perfect although it has less "nightlife" than the popular Cococabana Beach. Impanema Beach is a much prettier beach & we were never concerned about safety.

Leila and Luiz are fantastic hosts. They make you feel at home in their house and help out willingly and effectively. The location is very unique, located between the city center and South part of town, it's possible to reach any part of Rio quickly.
10 minute walks lead you to busses, a very famous statue or an often filmed and safe favela.

The owners Leo & Leila have just opened their beautifull family home to guests. I felt lucky to have come across this lovely family residence before they become to popular. I felt a welcome guest of the family rather than a customer. Leo & Leila went out of their way to make my stay as pleasant and accommodating as possible. I very much look forward to coming back hear in the futcher.

This hotel has a very good location (quiet, safe, close to Flamengo Park and Beach).
Very kind and helpfull staff (we asked in spanisch, they answered in portuguese or english - was a nice mixture), but we got all information we needed.
Breakfast was excellent with rolls, bread, ham and cheese, fresh fruit, coffee, tea or juice.

Staff were friendly and helpful. A clean hotel located very close to the Flamingo beach.Good value for money if you were to pay the internet rate. I would like to recommend the hotel for a couple with no children.

We spent three nights at the R&C Santa Teresa and were very happy with our choice for romantic vacation. The room was very nice and very clean. The design of hotel is awesome.

Perfect for a two-three day getaway and would work well if the beach is not an option (winter) or just to mix it up before/after a few days at the beach. The area itself is interesting and from what I gather has some cool drinking holes and restaurants. One could start and finish a book in peace here, yet 'feel Brazilian', and not feel they need to join the flock of tourists seeing the usuals in Rio. I enjoyed spending time at the bar, restaurant and spa - perfect for a day of indulgence!

The hotel was idealy located for shopping and buses to other locations

We stayed at the sol Ipanema for 3 nights at the beginning of March. We chose a deluxe sea view room and it didn't disappoint. We were on the 11th floor and had fabulous views in both directions. The bed was comfortable and the room very clean. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast every morning and had 2 evening meals in the restaurant, the second time

Incredible location..very clean and nice rooms. Though I had to wait about an hour to check in but the front desk infact particularly Mr. Leonardo was kind enough to check me into a spacious sea view room though I had a mountain view booking. The lobby is quite comfortable and they serve you very well and too be true very well priced. The roof top bar & pool again are a joy giving a breathtaking view of the beach all around. To sum up a great place to stay and I would return soon..
