Its location is very good for the best beach and safety in Rio area. The staff is so nice that you don't have to worry about anything though they cannot speak good English. My special thanks give to the staff who found and returned the scarf my wife forgot in the restaurant. Also the food is unique and delicious. will use it again. -

Great location - 5 minutes walk to Copacabana beach. It is located in a safe area, on a main street. The reception team is very helpful and informative! Room is clean, tidy and spacious. Superb staff, no language difficulties even for a non Portugese speaker. Excellent restaurant, buffet breakfast to suit every taste. Location, two minutes from the beach, and a bus to almost everywhere in Rio on the doorstep.

All front desk staffs speak good English. Since this is a business
hotel, rates on the weekend was cheaper than the weekdays. Use a yellow
taxi if you go to tourist spots. They are honest and you pay by the

Great location if you want to hang around in Lapa. Very close to the metro station so you can easily go to Copacabana and Ipanema as well. The staff has been very helpful and let us check in much in advance. Thank you!

Very nice hotel. Very clean and neat!, My Room had a beaufitul view of the beach. Breakfast buffet was excellent! (hot and cold). The lobby is very pretty. Our stay at the Ipanema Plaza was excellent. When we arrived tired (without luggage, lost by the airline) we were offered a room already at 0600 although we hadn't expected to check-in until 1400. Our room on the Ipanema Floor was really lovely, nice modern furnishing and fantastic view of the beach. The hotel restaurant is really good and the breakfast was also excellent.

We loved the staff at the Ipanema Inn. Everyone there spoke English and were extremely helpful in finding excursions, transportation, food etc.. We had a large group of 6 (2 seniors and 2 children under 9) which made for some difficult logistics when traveling and the staff here made everything easy. The hotel has been refurbished, is clean, comfortable and the staff and breakfast are great. It is close to shopping, restaurants and close to the beach. Most of the staff speak English. We had a spacious family suite with a terrace and beach view. Also, the a/c unit was quiet and the shower was good too. -
Hotel staff very attentative and helpful. Probably the best value for
money in the area. Breakfast simple but sufficient. Same as the rooms.
Although I stayed in a room with street view, there is no noise.
Definitely a good option for those who want good location and good
service without being ripped off.
