The location was very close to city activities and sites. The owners were very welcoming, friendly and accomodating. Breakfast was typically European, however the hosts were willing to make eggs or omlettes. The owners made everyone feel comfortable while eating by using their multiple languages to engage the group. the owners very helpful and welcoming! do note only stairs, just one flight to go up. Breakfast light , but wonderful idea to get everyone to table at 9am to talk and socialize! Found out how to get to Flanders Feilds from other guest! Very close to city center and very walkable to everything.
όλα τα σχόλια » This was a beautiful B&B. Our host, Bieke, was so warm and wonderful and made us feel at home from the start. The room was simple and elegant. Plenty of hot water in the shower. The breakfasts were tasty and so lovely to talk with Bieke. We would definitely recommend this wonderfully lovely hotel. Perfect hosts, friendly, outgoing, knowledgeable about area, lovely breakfast at large table all together, encouraging interaction among guests (with fun conversations in several languages). Our hostess was extremely willing to provide little extras that we requested. A lovely stay!. A truly wonderful place. The owner is a great person and we enjoyed that she gave us valuable information about the city and how to take advantage of the 24 hours we had allotted for Bruges. I highly recommend b & b Burghia to other travelers. A place where you feel at home. A great place to relax and explore Bruges. Very central location and 5 min taxi to the train station. Excellent accommodation run by a very friendly and helpful family who will go out of their way to see you have a great holiday. B&B Brughia was warm and welcoming. The breakfast was good for a continental style. friendly staff Excellent breakfast excellent location. I thought the rooms were clean and VERY bright!. The room was cold during our cold March evening stay. would have liked to pay with credit card instead of cash. As it says on booking site will take cards , was not an option when we got there. We loved everything!. Ours was the smallest room, and lso right on the street. We would ask for one of the larger ones on the side next time, as we were there for three nights. But we certainly made it work, with a bit of creativity. Should provide info on booking confirmation about parking and that it is possible to park in B&B's street provided you have a parking disk showing time of arrival for 4 hours (which can be renewed if you reset the disk). This may be preferable given that main car park is some distance away (if you have heavy luggage). Breakfast is so limited and is not a traditional style as we expected. Internet did not work at room. Advertised bathroom was in fact a shower in the room and a WC in what appeared to be a closet. Not a separate room. pillows. The bathroom and shower spaces were fairly small, but clean. The breakfast was decent, but it was odd to have to eat at 9 a.m. sharp! The hostess was very nice, but she needs to tell people that the bathrooms on the first floor are for PRIVATE use.
