Freindliness, cheerfulness and helpfulness of staff. Being small sized and fanily run it had a distinctive personality and we were treated as individuals not standardised units of consumption. The location was good; just a half hour's walk, or quick bus ride, to old town. - It was clean and nice and I felt like at home. We loved everything about this hotel. The location was superb (1-1/2km to train station and walking distance to old town Salzburg), the street (Linzergasse) was pretty and vibrant, the hotel was clean and very comfortable, and the service was excellent! If you love to stick your head out the window and see what's going on in the street below, ask for a room facing the front (fun!). There are also lovely quiet rooms facing the back. The manager was extremely helpful with advice and suggestions

The accommodation was a short walk to the city centre. The garden was lovely and everything was impeccably clean. The staff (or family in this case) was so nice and accomodating that Iwould definitely stay here again. It's a pretty easy walk to the hotelfrom the main train station, although I get lost usually my first timein every new city. After several nights in noisy city hotels, we were thankful for this location with mountain views from each window, away from city noise, but just a 15-minute bus ride into Salzburg from a bus stop 5 minutes away. Breakfast was bountiful and we had delicious dinners there both nights.

The apartment was well set out. - The hotel is excellent, thanks to the considerate boss. The hotel is located at a very convenient region, where Mirabell is reachable in 10 min by bus, bank and super market are in 5 min walking distance. The room is decorated in a comfortable home style. Facilities are good and handy, with a fully equipped kitchen. The boss is really nice and helpful.
