The location was not far from the undergroubd train, supermatkets, bakery & restaurants. The cooperation by Mr. Joren from the Luxury Apartment Vienna, who left our key cards in an envelop, and when we reached the building I called him and he gave me the entrance code.

We have stayed at many hotels but we always find the Marriott has the most comfortable beds and the surroundings are so opulent.

When booking I asked for a nice room as it was our anniversary. We weren't disappointed. The location was ideal to catch an early bus to the airport in Swedenplatz. The hotel was basic, but clean and allowed us to drop off our luggage until check-in. The hotel was the least expensive in the area, even off season when we needed to make a last minute booking. We felt it was a great value for the price. The reservation included a breakfast but we had to leave to catch a 5am bus to the airport and were not able to see the quality of the breakfast.

Many thanks for our great vacation! We've been in apartments in Maria Theresien Strasse24. It's easy to reach this location by public transport (tram (D, 1), metro+CAT (from the airport)).

Our apartment was huge. Too
big perhaps:-) The location was perfect. We were just a few steps away from Figlmuller, the best wiener schnitzel in the world, and 100 meters from Stefanplatz. Everything was great except there was no privacy in the bathroom as the wall/door separating the bath, toilet and shower was glass. It's also tricky when you have more than a couple staying as you have to go through the only bedroom to go to the bathroom. But that's minor.

... τι λέει ο κόσμος » gratifying to us as we had booked the hotel. - Everything about Hotel Austria was superb. It's location, helpfulness of staff, cleanliness of rooms, breakfast was suberb. We could not recommend this hotel highly enough and we would definitely return. One point to note. On booking we were unable to get Standard room and booked the Classic which was only very slightly more expensive but was well worth it as the rooms were at lot bigger.
