Friendly and efficient staff. My late check-in from the airport was pleasantly and conveniently organised for entry and key pick-up!
We were also walked through by Joanne after we arrived for our second stay to be shown easier access from outdoors to lower ground. Rooms were good and clean with coffee/tea facilities which provided our good start

The lady on reception was friendly and welcoming and we appreciated her knowledgeable of the area. The lodge has a lovely character, was very clean, up to date in design and comfortable. Its also central to the uni, a lively pocket of wonderful little restaurants and general shopping.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. When we had problems with our TV at midnight it was no trouble for them to come and help us out. The bed was soo comfortable! I absolutely recommend this place if you are going to a concert at allphones or an event at ANZ stadium. The breakfast buffet is pretty darn good too! -

I made a wrong booking for a day too late and the hotel was full for the night, but the lady at the reception was extremely friendly and helpful and found me a room that someone else missed a flight for. She totally made my day.
Despite the plain look from the outside, the hotel was pretty cool on the inside.
My fault for not checking the maps, I thought it would be right next to the airport. I ended up having to take a taxi that cost $15 to the hotel.

It's a really good hotel, no real luxury, smallish rooms, but works
great! Impressive attention to detail, very ergonomic room design.
Higher floors have a great great view of darling harbour mad the bridge,
couldn't get enough of it every day! Stayed 6 days. Oh and the

I had the unfortunate situation of having a migraine headache on the

Craig, the manager, was a treat and very helpful. The hotel is within walking distance of terrific views of the Opera House and Harry's Cafe de Wheels. They have a handout that provides lots of tips about how to get around Sydney and things to do while in town. It was our first trip to Sydney and we only could stay one day before heading to Tonga, but we will return someday for a longer stay and would definitely consider staying at Mariners Court again.

We have stayed here a few times, and have just had another 2 nights. it is sad to constantly read the poor reviews the hotel gets. Sure there are things that need some fixing up, and yeh it's not the Hilton, but it sure is a great friendly and convenient place to stay and relax. Was at RPA for surgery. Found the staff very friendly & very helpful. Staff were very understanding of our situation with the operation & helped out with everything we asked. Our house cleaner went above & beyond as she knew Tim had surgery- every morning as we went for his rehab she dropped everything & did our room when we were out. EVERYTHING! The place does not look amazing from the outside but my was it a delight upon entrance and seeing the garden. The Hotel staff were very kind and helpful. Rooms were neat and facilities were good like the common kitchen and Wi-Fi. TV, Iron Box, Kettle, Coffee / Tea Sachets and fridge was available. The hotel was secured with a secured lock in the front. The location and Transport access is aver big plus point. I have seen other backpackers or hotels nearby but this hotel really stands out to be classy for the money spent.

I liked being on the ground floor (Room 1.) Room was all I needed. Good value for money. Very clean. Bed comfortable. WiFi arrangements (pay as you go) worked well. Breakfast arrangements suited me, morning papers, great. Reception and housekeeping staff were friendly and efficient. -
