Very close to Darling Harbour area & lots of restaurants nearby. Close to Chinatown and plenty to do within walking distance. Spacious and comfortable with good noise insulation considering it was in a busy street. Very nice & clean, good shower.

the location was perfect for the tourist. Walking distance to China Town, Darling Harbour and the Fish Quay. Short walk to shopping on George Streret , to Circular Quay and the Rocks. All the sights within easy walk. Didn't spend a cent on transport other than to and from the airport. -

Excellent Location with easy reach to public transport and local shops. Some local night clubs were kicking until early morning for one of the nights so many people about and did get a little noisy, however generally we were comfortable and pleased with our accommodation and locality. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We often asked for directions and suggestions of places to visit and they were all helpful and happy to advise and give suggestions. The apartment was lovely and clean and offered everything we needed for our week long trip to Sydney.....right down to providing washing powder for the washing machine. Brilliant!

The very responsive nature of the staff. The purpose of our stay was my partner was having surgery at St Vincent's and we needed somewhere closeby - we'd stayed there before (2008 & 2009). I know that a few people have commented about the description of a one-bedroom apartment vs a studio, but the layout was perfect for us with young children; decent size and very clean bathroom (no bath just shower), king size bed that is 'open' plan in an area or 'room' and then into the large combined kitchen, dining and lounge area with good size balcony.

The one bedroom apartment we stayed in was spacious, well appointed and had a balcony. It was cleaned and serviced every day. Location was very convenient to CBD, transport and shopping. The staff was lovely, very polite and attentive and I thoroughly reccommend Oaks. Central Station is very near which means one can hear the trains sounding

It was the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in. If you are a traveler like me and my partner, then splash out a little on a weekend and stay here, you will feel refreshed!

The location is perfect! With a short walk (<5mins) you can take the light rail to central station and the bus stop with buses to circular quay (including 555) just in front of the hotel!
Haymarket and chinatown are about 5 mins walk from the back door.
Room is big ( for 4 pax), clean and nice! bed is extremely comfortable and the price is reasonable ( ~aud 700 for 4 nights excluding weekend)! -
One was not pressured into early rising to please the housemaids. We slept in late every day as you should on holidays. The near shopping centres were wonderful as were all the food courts and restaurants.There is no shortage of entertainment near by, as well as cruises in the harbour, sight seeing etc. The staff were friendly and curtious and we will definitely be returning on our next holidays.
