I really love this hotel situated smack downtown in the city center (microcentro) and have stayed there several times and will be back again. Reception staff and attention you get from them is really wonderful, thanks Gaston, Andrés and Leandro. Only flipside might be for those that have problems to go up/down the stairs inside the room to the bed but I don´t mind. Nice brakfast buffet. The building and the common areas are very charming, filled with antiques. The breakfast was good and the staff was really helpful. The location is perfect, right in the center, so you can easily reach most points of interest, and there's a subway station right in front of the building.
όλα τα σχόλια » This place was a lovely place to stay! Right next to the subway and walking distance to many attractions! Breakfast was great (including having Sinatra playing each morning). Funky old building that's been well restored! We loved the old school lift!. Staff at reception were great and very helpful. First room was small and they changed it with a bigger and better one without question and extra fee. The hotel building was impressive, like a museum. Really nice and attentive staff in the reception. Good breakfast buffe in a nice and roomy atmosphere. Been here three times before and will definitly come back again. Staff was very helpful, they gave us a lot of information about what to do while we were in Bs As. Excellent Coffee. The hotel was beautifully done up and is quite quirky. This hotel is located near the nove de julio street. ubication and decoration of the hotel are so good. Comparing to the common areas, the room was very poorly decorated, and there's no minibar. The cleanliness was not satisfatory: the balcony was filthy, so it was impossible to go outside, and the room itself was not properly cleaned before and during our stay (there was a cigarette butt in the bathroom that was never cleaned). The blankets weren't fresh either (there were hairs in it), but the sheets and towels were alright (despite being a bit worn out for a boutique hotel standard). They don't give you the a/c control which means you have to ask main desk to switch it on, and if you need it adjusted they have to come to the room to do it, but really this wasn't much of a problem!. The sheets of the bed didn't changed in 9 nights when we were there. Towels must be renewed. Room was simple and not well cleaned. Since the beds are on a mezzanine which means going up and down the stairs its not ideal for some people but I dont mind. They should offer a wider variety for breakfast but still ok. Pillows were like a rock. The single beds were very narrow and the rooms facing the main avenue very noisy. The hotel staff forgot to confirm our booking through letsbookhotel.com, so we received a 'no-show' email from the latter mentioning a charge for the supposed cancellation. All was resolved in the end. desk too small, room a bit humid, some small pieces from the ceiling fell during the night on the bath tub. Couldn't pay with Credit Card... They do not allow you to see the actual room before booking it, which is odd and offputting. hated the 10 am check out. The arquitecture should be better. The hotel is old and need some restauration. did not provide a separate small bed for baby, plus the cost of the room was high compared to the last time I stayed at the hotel and was practically the same type of room I stayed last time.
