  I spent one week in February at the Tropical Breeze Resort and found it very accommodating. I booked a standard room and it was located on the side of the office, a short block away from the beach. I was within walking distance of the restaurants and shops. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The individual cottages are really cute. - - location is perfect, few steps from the beach and few steps from restaurants and bars - apartment is large and nice - swimming pool was just a few steps from the dhe door of one of our bedroom, which was very nice - we had a reservation for two-bedroom apartment, but it was not available, so they gave us an apartment with three bedroom in the same price, which was very nice

It's just close enough to downtown Sarasota and all the attractions that you can drive there in 5 minutes but you're far enough away that you don't feel like you're in the city. This hotel was maintained with great care. Although modest, everything was carefully presented.
