  This is an ideal little hotel for the Sedona area. Very reasonable, yet quite nice. The rooms were large and clean with amenities. The free breakfast was quite adequate. It is close to many of the local sights. The restraunt we used which is in the mall does very good food but the service is slow but makes you smile - we thought they must be on something! We were late getting there due to car troubles and they called us to make sure we were ok and were offering to give us information in case we arrived after the front desk closed.   Location was very convenient. Oak Creek is not as touristy as Sedona, which we liked since we live in Phoenix and visit the area several times a year. The hotel is within walking distance of one of the more distinctive formations, Bell Rock, as well as a lot of other great trails, local restaurants and shopping. The location was the best for me. We came to see the red rocks around Sedona, but the center of Sedona is a traffice nightmare; Oak Creek, six mile south of Sedona, is a much better location. The red rock are still nearby and you have all the restaurants etc that you need, but without the crowds and traffic.

Also the breakfast was delish, and they gave us an outstanding recommendation for dinner as well. We enjoyed a night out by there lovely fireplace which they lit for us after hours.
