  Nice and spacious room with everything you need. . Bathroom was big and clean and had a nice vintage look. The whole building is just fantastic. It's got a special feel, hard to describe. You have to see for yourself. Jeremy, the owner, was very helpful and got us on track to discover Harlem. He gave us some valuable info on the real Little Ital... was die leute sagen » y in the Bronx. We had an excellent dinner in Arthur Avenue thanks to him :-) We also ended up in a pretty cool bar just around the corner. A good tip - My room was in the Victorian Row house which was a few blocks up from the main location. I liked how insanely comfy the beds were. After a long flight and arriving late, its all you want and more than exceeded my expectations. Also liked that there was a kitchen that I could use so I could have a cup of tea when I got in from traipsing the streets all day. Rooms were comfy, cosy and individually decorated with actual creative touches which you don't often see. Also, free wireless was very much

  We (young couple - 28 yo) stayed in this hostel during one week to visit ny. We spent a very nice time at this place. The bedroom (economy-cheap) was little but nice, confortable and clean (queen bed, sink, mirror, window). We had a shared bathroom always clean and available (morning and evening) ! The breakfast was very nice (cereals, some fruits... was die leute sagen » , bread, bagel, hard egg, jam, butter, honey, tea, coffee, milk, juice ...). The location was perfect to visit Manhattan, very close to metro, between - Frankie at the front desk was wonderful. The location was very close to the 8th avenue subway station which was a nice line to ride and see the city. The breakfast was delicious and the other guests were friendly. The water pressure in the shower was good (a plus for me). The housekeeping staff did a wonderful job cleaning the room daily. Very quiet during our stay both from other rooms and from the outside. There is a grocery store on 8th ave between 22nd and 21st (2 minute walk).

  The staff was more than helpful. On our last morning, when running to the car to grab something, realized it had been towed!! The front desk helped calm us down, while providing instructions and directions on how to find our car. Kept our room for us until we were able to get it and return. The room was extra spacious and comfortable. The largest ... was die leute sagen » room we have stayed in, in the city so far. The location is a very easy walk to Greenwich Village for bars or food. Plenty to do right around the hote - I received a very warm and friendly welcome from Ana in the Chelsea Pines Inn, and all the staff there were charming and lovely throughout my short stay. The location of this Inn is excellent - a few steps away from an underground station, Chelsea Market and the High Line. Small touches like complimentary water and printing facilities makes Chelsea Pines Inn compare favourably to more upscale places I stayed in ny (where they were charging $8 for a small bottle of water!).
