  Loved the historic/rustic feel so perfect for Carmel. Cosy cottages afford privacy that a hotel just can't offer. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, and the breakfast baskets were the perfect amount of "grab and go" Continental style that gave us the energy for our scheduled days without feeling heavy or wasteful. Location was perfect too - not more that ten minutes to anywhere we wanted to go, and so close to one - we loved everything about our stay. we loved how each room was a separate little cottage. we loved the fireplace, the hot tub, and the food basket. the staff was friendly. we had our own parking space and the price was perfect and didn't require a minimum stay. oh, and it was pet friendly. we could walk to town and get some exercise in because it wasn't too close to town. we loved this place and will definitely be back. we have told several people about it already.

  We loved meeting Nicha and Mike who made us feel welcome and like old friends. The location was convenient for walking to all of the great art galleries & shops. We felt at home with the beautiful quilts on the beds. The kitchenette was wonderful and decorated with touches of a time long ago. Noting from the reservation that it was our 51st Wedding Anniversary that day, they upgraded our room! It was beautiful, and we were really touched. The hotel was centrally located within Carmel, and it was very easy to walk to the beach and the shops/restaurants in town. A charming experience.

I personally like the fact that there was no 50 inch flat sreen TV staring me in the face and laughed out loud when I finally found the 18 inch TV tucked in a cupboard in the corner (I certainly didn't come to Carmel to space out in front of a sitcom). We were too late to enjoy the evening wine and hors d'oeuvres, but the breakfast of quiche, fresh cut fruit, home-baked muffins - The Inn was very easy to find and had good parking for inside area as well as close street side parking. All staff was courteous and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and was included in cost. Late into the evening my daughter needed to get something from car and I noticed the police patrolled the area so I felt very safe and secure. The beach was located a few blocks down the street from the Inn and was easily within walking distance. The whole area is Beautiful!
