I loved being able to stay at the hotel I always thought was "above" my affordability. The price for Thanksgiving week was so reasonable compared to other hotels in town. Loved the service by all the staff (all very friendly!) and the breakfast was very nice. The Omelet!! Oh I will get the omelet from now on! Free WiFi, very comfortable beds and yes, the entire atmosphere of the hotel is elegance!.

Mandgers and front desk personnel were very friendly. we were there for my fathers funeral, so probably not the best time for review. we did apprediate the early check-in days due to my fathers death.. Thank you very much. I liked being able to make my reservation the night before I travelled and still be able to get a reasonable price. I also liked the location of the hotel being close to everything. The entire experience at the hotel was really positive and I enjoyed the hotel overall. I stayed at the Chateau with my daughter and two young granddaughters. My granddaughters thought they were staying in a castle. The facility was beautiful and the staff treated us all like royalty. Overall a wonderful experience and I would definitely return. The location was good. It was very easy to get to. The bed was okay. I have become quite spoiled by so many beds in other hotels that this was just okay. There were a couple of sitting options which was nice to have and they were comfortable. The price was great. The pool and hot tub were immaculate. The beautiful Christmas trees throughout were beautiful. Good hot breakfast was a nice treat. Planning to bring kids and grandchildren back next month. We loved the warm inviting feeling of the hotel and how beautiful the architecture was. A lot of beautiful older style furniture and was located within driving distance to everything we wanted to do. Long black hairs in tub and on toilet back, sheets too small, no extra blanket in room, towels small and worn thin, two clocks in room both different time and both wrong, TV listing in room wrong, lots of noise all night in hallway outside our door woke us up several times. the ice storm outside. Restraunts were closed on Sunday due to lack of guests in hotel. Really? I never heard of that. Also, Sunday morning hotel had a power failure for approx. Two hours. Again, are you kidding? No emergency generator? Had to get ready for the day in pitch black! Never heard of this either. There were times it had a real musty smell and there were places in the hotel that looked worn and needed some upkeep. Bad aroma in hotel elevator and lobby. I think that it needed a little up keep. The toilet would not flush properly. I asked for someone to take care of it. They DROPPED OFF a plunger that would not plunge. After several attempts and a decent night's sleep, I was able to get it working in the morning. a few tv stations that you said were available, weren't. Hot tub water was dirty and unusable. The hotel bar closed super early ON A FRIDAY NIGHT!. There was an unpleasant odor. The toilet was clogged. Television selection and picture were poor. Square pillows. Wi-Fi access was unsecured and business center wired internet was incredibly slow. The beds weren't as comfortable as I would have liked, and the complimentary breakfast and waitstaff left a lot to be desired... Ran out of food and never restocked, so my choice was eggs or eggs... That was it. No room service. With a restraunt in the hotel I was surprised by this. Hotel has a strange smell when you first come in. Bedding was poor. Then sheets like you would see in a motel 6 or such. I was given a handicap room, that I did not need. Bathroom facilities are a little hard to use when you are short. Would have liked to have had a fridge in the room. Something many budget friendly hotels provide. Decor tired looking Toilet ran intermittently throughout night Electrical-outlet extender used and mattress caused lamps & clock to loose power Computer "down" at checkout and even tho we requested email and provided info have yet to receive receipt. It appears to be a large old luxury hotel that's fallen into disuse. The onsite bar is closed. Our car was the only car in the huge parking lot. Our hallway smelled. No flat screen tv. No hot water. 11/5 water faucet was loose in wall. It seems regularly that there is some equipment that is not functioning like it should. Someone needs to follow up on quality control and own it. It needs to be up-dated. More staff needed during breakfast time in the restaurant. It was a buffet serving scrambled eggs as the main course, and had to wait 20 minutes to get some!. Breakfast have to change menu .make it different. Antiquated equipment at front desk. To print a receipt they have to walk into another room to get it. The front desk booked someone else in our room on the second night. Someone walked in our room while I was laying in bed. Scary! Front desk did not offer any compensation. Based on that alone, may not recommend this hotel. Shuttle to airport late. Missed flight which was whole reason I stayed there. Will not stay there again. Wish I could get my money back. Hotel is very old. Furniture in my room broken desk, marble top coming off and no one fixed it the three days I was there. Could not open dresser drawers, had to live out of my suitcase. Hot water went to cold unless than 2minutes while showering. Had to have someone come work on chandelier so it would turn off timer did not work, When I checked out and relayed these thins to girl behind the counter got apology of any kind. She could have cared less. I will never stay there again. On arival room rate was wrong,ac in room not working, were asked to shut it off while we were gone, and turn it back on when we got back and see if that fixed it. It did not had to change rooms. Pillows very small. When we checked out our room rate jumped to $30.00 more per night. Got that fixed. Overall bad stay. the first room air conditioner doesn't work flat screen was an old tube TV.
