  friendly staff and amiable atmosphere - I liked the friendly and relaxing atmosphere in the hotel. The food was very good especially the breakfast. And the evening meal was far superior to the previous Best Western we stayed at. There was also plenty of room in the car park which was good to see after travelling a long way.

You have to love arty quirkiness to really appreciate this delightful oasis in the middle of a pretty Norfolk town kinda in the middle of nowhere.   Quirky room with bags of character. The couple who ran it were very pleasant. Good pub around the corner with real ales and super food. They also have accommodation, but it's better to stay at the Vines and eat at the pub. It's probably quieter and definitely cheaper.
