  We found the hotel to be very welcoming, clean and our room was very spacious and comfortable. Although we did not use the pool it looked very clean with a nice balcony area with lovely views over the bay. Breakfast was ok served by very friendly staff. Location is very close to beach and all of the towns shops etc. Bar area was spacious with a go... was die leute sagen » od selection of drinks on offer. All in all a very enjoyable stay at the Merlewood which we will return to again. - Everything, stayed one night B&B, lovely place, very welcoming, other residents were very friendly, some reviews may comment that its dated but its very well looked after and cared for. Breakfast was ample and fresh and catered for all needs by a team of young but welcoming waitresses.

  modern clean hotel with welcoming staff. Room was extremley clean and relaxing and the person at the reception was extremly knowledable about the area and other things. The breakfast was to a good standard and all the staff were clean and tidy. The bar attached to the hotel was also very welcoming for all ages. The bar food would never win Masterchef but is good wholesome food freshly cooked with generous portions at excellent value The Breakfast is also freshly cooked to order and is absolutely first class setting you up for the day. It is the perfect base for us being only 10 minutes from Tenby

  Our birthday surprise for Dad went down really well. I booked the suite with balcony as we had a travel cot to give maximum space which it did. The hotel which does allow dogs had immaculate bedroom, bathroom and sitting room facilties including a spa bath which was a lovely surprise. We could not have asked for more - a comfortable bed, a nicely furnished room, breakfast par excellence, and the warmest of welcomes from Deb and Nev. And for all that the price was less than a quarter of that in a well known hotel jus - Wasn't our first choice as previous B&B double booked but thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Comfortable and clean room, we were made very welcome and could come and go as we pleased. The breakfast was excellent the best we have had! Every day a tasty treat was left in our room to have with a hot drink when we returned from our day out (it was very cold!) And a Creme Egg on Easter Sunday!. The view was lovely and just a short walk to the beautiful sandy beach. The owners are new to B&B and

  We had a lovely welcome off the owners making us feel at home. The room was beautiful and had a lovely see view. Added touches like a bottle of bubbly on arrival and cupcakes left each morning and even a wedding card and small gift made our stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was delicious with a vast range. Everything was very tastefully decorated and clean. Saundersfoot is a beautiful seaside town and staying in Wogan House was a massive cherry on top.
