  Everyone at the hotel is extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms and public aeas are spotlessly clean and comfortable.We decided to have dinner on the first night and it was so delicious we had it every other day too! (we stayed for 3 nights). Breakfast was served at the table, so everything was freshly-cooked with lots of choice including smoothies. We were r - The Saxonville has a slightly old fashioned feel to it, and none the worse for that. There was plenty of public space. The service was excellent. It is a bit out of town, but this is not a problem if you can walk half a mile, as the town centre, in season, is heaving. A relaxing place for a comfortable break. We only had one dinner in, but it was great value.

  I cannot rate this hotel enough. We stayed a few weeks ago after deciding to show some American friends our country. We drove down to Whitby from Lichfield and booked a two room aprtment at the resolution hotel. We got a very good deal on the room which made it amazing value for money! We stayed in a double room, which was beautifully decorated, very clean and extremely well stocked full of toiletries, drink making facilities, fan, hair dryer, safe etc The view was amazing!!!   The first stop on our honeymoon, and stayed in the annexe. This room was located across from the main hotel. It was very quite, well appointed with everything you needed for a nights stay. The bathroom was great, funky blue light under the mirror, very modern and clean. Bed comfortable. with additional blankets and pillows if you need them. Breakfast - The White House Hotel was a very nice surprise for us and we certainly can recommend this hotel to fellow travellers. We were in the annex room 19 which was handy for us with parking and if door open a view to golf course and the cliffs. Breakfast was especially nice with the services of Kristy & Cystral and their humorous remarks to us Aussies. A beautiful walk into Whitby along the cliff top or you can go along by the esplanade.
