  I booked the King Room on the first floor (stairs: this is a pub after all) for only one night during my trip from London to see the Walpole/Hermitage collection at nearby Houghton Hall. The inn is situated on the main road through the village, but traffic was sporadic and did not disturb. An issue with the boiler in the annex where we were originally staying was dealt with without any fuss, and we were given a free upgrade. Both the Hoste Arms and Burnham Market itself looked beautiful and very atmospheric decked out in Chri - A lovely Hotel set in a quaint North Norfolk village. We had a room upgrade to a luxury suite in the Hoste main buildings at no extra charge due to noise which was fantastic, very sapcious really comfortable bed with gorgeous linens, massive walkin shower as well as a really well equipped separate bathroom. The Hotel has recently added a new restaurant which is superb over looking a lovely courtyard patio & the service throughout the Hotel was excellent.

  I always choose an apartment over a hotel when travelling with work, and I've learned to accept that they vary enormously in quality and value for money. This apartment was quite simply the best of both. It was a nice touch to see that there was milk, a few of cans of coke, sparkling and still water, mini bottle of wine and a beer in the fridge.
