Ideally placed for us, as we were attending the March & Rally for Scottish Independence on Calton Hill that weekend. The room was spacious bright and colourful with lots of lovely added extras including free movies,mini bar drinks, robes and slippers.   The caretaker, Rachel, is very friendly and helpful. We really appreciated the fact that we could park the car safely on site - a rarity this close to the centre of Edinburgh. We booked a studio, but were actually upgraded to a 2-bed flat for the same cost, which was nice. My family plans to go back to Scotland and Palace Residential will be our first choice each time.
