  Extrem cooperative und freundliche Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption - Excellent hotel in a lovely setting with good access to the Forest of Bowland. Modern, clean rooms and a great restaurant. This should be at least a 4*. Will definitely be staying again (soon!) - Excellent value for money. Good facilities.

  A very nice hotel set in a beautiful location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food excellent. Gym and spa excellent. Food excellent. Room was massive and very comfortable. Only complaint was what I thought was a double bed was actually two stuck together and I only noticed that when I rolled over in bed and the shower was very weak and not power... was die leute sagen » ful enough. All things considered a very nice hotel and I will definitely stay again when I am in this area on business. - For our needs the quiet, rural location was lovely. Nice to stay in an independently run hotel instead of the usual formulaic chain of hotels. The views across the fairway was beautiful. The use of the swimming pool etc was an added bonus which we took advantage of. The staff were very accommodating. Breakfasts were fine again with excellent service. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would be happy to re-book at the Shaw Hill Hotel.

Well situated on the sea front, clean and modern, we were delighted with our choice. We will definitely return to and also recommend this hotel.

  All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location and beautiful setting the resort is in and being greeted by the ducks each morning. The lodges were well equipped and spacious.   Have always wanted to stay here so chose it as a special place to spend a wedding anniversary.The look of the building lived up to its reputation as an Iconic Art Deco masterpiece. The restaurant was superbly situated along the front with great views and the choice of breakf - The foyer is a stunning tribute to the original design and the refurbishment. The room was beautifully designed if a little quirky, quiet and clean and the furnishings reflected the period. Dinner menu was a tad limited but well presented and served and up to 4* standard. The location was ideal for exploring Lancashire and the Lakes. The provision of binoculars to maximise the sea view was a nice touch!
