  We loved the classic old style pub, especially when the log fire was lit in the evening. Lots of atmosphere with interesting photos on the walls. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, especially the freshly cooked -to -order breakfast. - Vicky was welcoming from day 1. The food we ate at breakfast and at night was superb.   Liz and Kevin are the new owners of The Coach and Horses....they only had been the new owners for 6 weeks at the time we stayed there. They are warm and welcoming. The pub/dining room is a historical building sitting on a major hwy. The guest rooms are in a "newer" building at the back of the property. I believe there only are 4 rooms. They are locat - Very friendly and warm welcome. Room was cosy, warm, well appointed and very clean, the fixtures and fittings were stylish and overall very homely. The village of Bourton on the water is only a 10 minute walk so it is well situated to amenities nearby. Food was excellent and presented beautifully. The atmosphere in the pub was very good and very friendly. I would defiantly recommend this pub as a good place to stay
