  Beautiful setting, took bikes & spent lovely morning cycling around glorious countryside. Friendly staff, good old fashioned service done properly. Spacious room exceeded expectations - Hartpury with superking bed under 1/2 tester & fantastic corner bath. Loose leaf tea, ground coffee & homemade biscuits in room with sparkling & st... was die leute sagen » ill water in fridge, large bowl of fresh fruit - nice extra touches which make so much difference to staying in a chain hotel. Very nice breakfast, go - this hotel is an absolute delight, a real hidden gem in the Gloucestershire countryside. Our room was probably one of the more 'ordinary' ones, but having said that we could not have asked for more. Everything that I could think of that would make a stay in a hotel comfortable, the staff had thought of first. From the bowl of fresh fruit, replenished daily to the thoughtful addition of hot water bottles in the chest of drawers. The staff were delightful and nothing was too much trouble. The bre
