  Friendly staff above a quiet pub just off the main city centre High road. Easy access to the main routes in and out of the city. Landlord a pleasent chap quite accomodating and serves a decent pint of Guinness - Friendly people, close to the town. Room was spotless and bed was comfy.

  We were treated so well we felt like part of the family. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a great conversations with the Landlord and all off the Staff. The food we had was well prepared and nicely presented. Our room was clean and tidy with sufficient storage space. We will definitely go back and take friends along.   The accommodation was spotlessly clean, modern and comfortable. Great location for visiting Whipsnade Zoo as we were still able to walk into Dunstable in the evening where there were several good pubs and restaurants. Carmel could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The breakfast was also phenomenal - we would definitely stay here again. - I had read reviews and I wondered whether it could live up to expectations. It did more than this. I enjoyed the peaceful location and took advantage of the close proximity to 'The Downs' to have a Sunday morning walk. Needed the walk to burn off the extra calories from the excellent breakfast. Carmel was wonderful. She took time out to talk to her guests and had a good rapport with everyone.

All needs catered for. Breakfast very good. A bit out of the way but my family lived in the next village with no suitable accommodation so this fit the bill perfectly. Will definitely stay again.

This hotel has charactor something that many modern hotels don't have every room has its own charm and qualaties.   Booked the cottage and boy was I glad I did. Fantastic little place with superb gardens and all to myself. The meals in the restaurant were beyond reproach and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for a relaxing peaceful holiday and yet less than 10 miles from the A1. The food was amongst the best that I've tasted in any hotel or restaurant. The log fire in the lounge area only enhanced the experience of staying in a beautiful country hotel.
