  The hotel is located in the town centre and has easy access to to all the local bars and restaurants. The owner is very friendly and chatty. The rooms are very clean and there was fresh towels every day. The breakfast was fantastic with fresh fruit and cereals and a cooked to order breakfast.   We stayed at lazy waves for a couple of night, The owners was great supplied information where to eat and where to visit. Breakfast was excellent and nice and fresh dining area is very cosy. Breakfast was to the standard of any five star hotel that we've stayed in. The owners are very pleasant and cannot do enough to please.   This was booked at the last minute and after a long trip i was given a very welcoming reception when i arrived. The room/house was lovely,comfortable and very clean and the extra bits provided in the room were also very nice. I loved all the quirkiness of the house, the art, the glasses in the dining room etc. The breakfast was stunning. We discovered a beach called Lusty Glaze which was within easy walking distance of Bedlam House which was absolutely fantastic. The train journey from Exeter to Newquay was very scenic and really added to the whole experience.

  Chris and Sally were the perfect hosts, they are an extremely lovely couple. Our stay was made very comfortable, our room was cleaned daily and the breakfasts were second to none, the circular breakfast table encouraged all the residents to chat and get to know each other and exchange their views on places to visit and eat. Chris in particular ... was die leute sagen » had a good knowledge of Newquay and advised us of places to eat and see, particularly the park and ride facility which allowed us to enjoy superb view - In a good position near to the beach. The bedroom was nicely decorated and very homely. Chris & Sally were great host who made you feel welcome. The breakfast was excellent and sharing the breakfast table with the other guest was enjoyable this allowed you to get to know them and share knowledge and experience of Newquay and surrounding areas. We would highly recommend Cormorant House.

We had breakfast included which was great every morning, full English but there was other options I.e. cereal, toast etc. Location was perfect, we did drive mostly everywhere but everything was no longer than a 10 minute drive from the B&B.   I booked this quite late after having a browse on the letsbookhotel.com, I read some reviews, looked at the location and was great. I got a txt on the day of arrival to ask when I was going arrive (nice touch) and when arrived felt very welcoming. The lodge is well decorated, clean, and they've even got a friendly dog. I stay in a lot of different plac - Room and facilities were fantastic, great shower, very comfortable bed, light clean room with plenty of areas for clothes to go, owners were the best part, were helpful, friendly and couldn't do enough to make your stay more comfortable, even gave my friend a lift to the wedding, if we were going to miss breakfast they gave little take away breakfast bag. Would stay here again.
