  We stayed at this lovely country pub for one night to break up our journey from Cambridge to Cornwall and it exceeded all of our expectations! Firstly, the hotel was rated a 2 star on letsbookhotel.com which we couldn't understand as it was better than a lot of 3 star places that we have stayed in! As we were only crashing there for the one night we wasn't looking for anything fancy and, at £50 a night, this was excel - We booked to stay at the New Inn over the August bank holiday weekend as it was ideally located to the Car Fest in Overton which we were visiting. When we arrived after a very long drive the reception staff were most helpful. We were very pleased with our room.Spotlessly clean and very nicely decorated. The beamed ceilings are a beautiful feature. We had a great night sleep each of the 3 nights we stayed. No noise after dark at all and the free breakfast the next morning is also great. On the f
