Straightforward, helpful staff member - offered to collect me from
free bus service stop or book a taxi (use the bus service, check for
details on tfl website- they are very frequent, even at 6am and it is
a short and easy 5 minute walk to the guesthouse), quickly got me some
tea as there was only coffee in the room and gave accurate local
information. Immaculately clean room and there is a good local pub at

Room was clean and adequate, though spartan. Suitable for a short
overnight stay. Staff settled us upon arrival and booked taxi to airport
the next morning. Referred to Pheasant Inn a block away for evening
meal. A busy pub and separate restaurant. Wi-Fi was handy.
Close cab ride to the airport (about 10-15 pounds), very comfortable -
exactly what we needed for our overnight layover to fly back to the
States. Close to a pub so we could walk and grab food.

If all you need is a sleep and a shower before a flight, go for it. A
short walk, 500 yards, will get you to the bus stop for the free
airport buses.
Very warm welcome, staff called a taxi for me in the early morning hours. Everything necessary was in the room.
The local pub, which is 50 Meyers away does good food, but get there early its very busy.

The person at the reception did what he could to overcome the detected issues.
It was fine when I was there but if there was a very noisy group booked
at the same time, you might need earplugs. However, there is no problem
with external noise from the planes.
Porch lights kept room bright at night. We had no way to change taxi
arrival time the next morning when we learned flight was delayed. Also,
£12 40p fare (10min) back to Terminal 1 seemed excessive (no meter in
this cab).Fare was what we paid from Terminal 4 to guest house; staff
inquired what our fare from airport was--so we were charged same to
return even though a shorter distance.

One of the hottest days of the year and no air-con. shouldn't be a problem for most people most of the time.

We had too many luggages for the three person room- two huge cases and three small cases. But I would imagine others would have less and this wouldn't be an issue.
couldnt find it didnt have satnav so had to ring several times. It is in a row of houses and not detached as I was expecting but got there ok.
Would have been nice before hand,no breakfast available but plenty of places nearby.
Airport noise and front room noise very loud.
Walls were paper thin and you could hear the people in other room talking on the phone.
Easy to miss and with the front door locked it was hard to rouse the
proprietor.
Very thin walls. I heard everything that happened on the corridor which was very annoying as another guest arrived very late at night and I had to get up really early. So I didn't get much sleep.

No breakfast option - place is bed only. However you can get breakfast from McDonolds on Bath Road about 1km away.
Really it is small "several rooms guesthouse" which is not good for city trip and may be used only for one night stay before departure from Heathrow.

The person at the reception did not give the credit card received because the machine was out of paper.
He was not able to give me the receipt of the hotel: he promised to send it by mail, but after 10 days did not get it, yet.
The bed sheets were dirty.
Some buttons of the TV remote control did not wo.
The connection to the airport is not walking distance with luggage. Smelled of smoke in hallway and room!.
