  Frühstück war vorragend - The staff were very helpful the room was clean and well appointed it was in need of some decoration but overall that wasn;t a problem. I used the beauty therapy and was very pleased my husband used the spa faciliries and he enjoyed that.   This is probably the best bed and breakfast I have ever stayed in. The contemporary design and feel, v clean, luxury bathing products, very comfortable kingsize bed, toffees, jelly babies and organic fair trade teas, coffees & hot chocolate. Breakfast was great, the hotel is close to the town centre a short walk. There was ample parking. Free internet access was a bonus. The bedroom and bathroom were beautifully decorated. I would recommend this hotel. As a small hotel there is no lift so if you have mobility issues this may not be a suitable hotel for you.

  Loved the fact that we were a two minute walk from the shops and near restaurants for the evening. Excellent value for money and a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Much nicer than your run of the mill holiday inn or travel lodge where they are all the same! Also liked that you had a bar connected so we could have a drink late evening. Would deffo stay again

It was so comfortable, I could have stayed in it all day every day. And that would have been a complete waste of a great holiday beak in a great little guest house. It was excellent, and dave, the propriotor made us so welcome. Highly recommended.

Beverley was a lovely friendly host and gave us all relevant information when we arrived to make our stay most enjoyable. We could not fault the room, food or the other people who were staying there as we made us of the excellent honesty bar after we returned from our nights out in Harrogate. A lovely and enjoyable experience all round.

It's close enough to the centre and the surroundings of the hotel are lovely. I would recommend the Acor - Owners have taken care to maintain property to excellent standards. Rooms were clean, comfortable and comfortable and new shower and bathroom meant no irritating plumbing problems. Location is close (walking distance) to city centre yet in a very quiet tree lined cul de sac in a sllepy neighbourhood for a most peaceful stay. Breakfast excellently cooked to order and owner extremely helpful and hospitable.
